It was a GIANT move to even consider .260 Rem and 6.5 Creedmoor, let alone adopt the Creedmoor. 6.8 isn't getting into the regular inventory in the next few decades - it won't replace 5.56. 6.8 was played with before I even got out, and there were a few running around in arms rooms.

Yep, I just call before Thursday if I want some specific firearm - he orders on Thursdays, and they overnight and arrive on Fridays. Shoot with mine all the time. Just lent him my 308 Reaction Rod yesterday, went to the bar/grill after he closed for some chow and beers. If you have no recoil system parts yet, just get the whole Armalite AR-10 Carbine recoil system. You can do the whole kit (one part number), or piece it together. There are three companies that I know of that are doing a confirmed 7 5/8" internal depth receiver extension, so there are options if some things are outta stock. Armalite AR-10 Carbine, VLTOR A5 (couple of different ones), and MagPul SR-25/M110. Any one of those three, Armalite EA1095 spring, any AR15 H3 carbine buffer (or the Armalite AR-10 Carbine buffer, same/same).

Get it to 5.4oz, if you can. That will be most reliable. You're running a collapsible stock setup, correct?

That's DPMS-based - which is AR15-based. Good to know.

No helicoil, man. It's shiit. It's a temporary fix. The Time-Sert is a permanent solution. I use Time-Sert on engines and suspension components, that people fuk up. I would never, ever consider using helicoil in those two areas.

I need to get more in my hands, so it'll be a week or so. I'll send some out to you to try. @Matt.Cross just cleaned me out of my stock. That fucker.

Ask, before you buy. There's alot I can say on it - quite loquacious on the recoil system subject.

IMHO - it depends on how far someone pushes it. It has to be shoved up to the Supreme Court, then they decide if they'll hear the case. I hope someone pushes some 2A cases up there, that's for sure.

I'm not the manufacturer or developer, but very good friends with the guy that came up with it. Long story, but I told him how I was using some of his products as gun lube. It all started there, and snowballed into an official lube, in it's final form now. It's not official as a company product - yet. It's about 95% there, though, as far as being official. It's just the waiting game now... In the meantime, The Strike Industries Anti-Venom lube is the best stuff out there, but it's super thin and flies off. Good lube, though. Second best is M-Pro 7, that you can get right at Walmart. Those two beat just about everything out there. This stuff that we can up with blows both those out of the water.
