  1. Fucking rebel.
  2. I was JUST coming in here to post THIS SCOPE to him, too!... 1.5~4 magnification, the Firedot-G (green dot) reticle, it's in Mils, so it doesn't care what your caliber is (run your mils for drop and windage). 272 grams = 9.59452 ounces. I run this on the 12.5" Grendel, because it's a hell of a lot of "options" for the weight, and that 12.5" Grendel can run that 4x scope out to 845 yards, repeatedly. And accurately. The high-zoot model is the one that will serve you well, forever.
  3. Do you have the PSA barrel already, in a complete upper, or are you working with stripped receiver sets? Or, are there PSA guys here that have posted their gas tube length protrusion into the upper receiver, and where that gas tube stops in relation to the cam pin cutout in the upper?
  4. @shepp we already know that alcohol CAN talk. It's Roman... @sketch
  5. MagPul even making Foliage Green anymore? I thought they canned it...
  6. It's what I do, no matter who it is...
  7. Because, Fukbags. Immediately following Sandy Hook, shiit like this was ALL OVER their website: FUK THEM... Right in the neck. Watch the vid below...
  8. Cerakote bake on. Painted many a MagPul polymer part with it. Bake it at 170 degrees for 2 hours. You can go 3 hours if you want, but 2 does the trick, and it's fucking tough paint.
  9. Measure and compare. Start there.
  10. Most of us are well aware of that, and what it means... It's ironic that you actually thought you had to spell it out for a guy that owns his own manufacturing company, with foreign contracts, and makes .338 Lapua Magnum ARs... Just some perspective, for you.
  11. It's not over-gassing - it's "understrength recoil systems" - even though most people think it's overgassed, then jump straight on that adjustable gas block bandwagon right away. Wrong bandaid fixing the wrong problem, IMHO. We've know that the 308AR platform is the Wild West with no accountability, since late 2009. That's when this board was formed, and why it exists in the first place, man. The AR-10 Platform doesn't have these issues, as you've stated. Armalite figured that shiit out over half a century ago, and did it well, and they work. "AR-10" is not in that picture. ".308AR" platforms are another matter... Terminology makes a difference, too...
  12. VooDoo Tactical. I have at least half a dozen of those things, in both 36" and 42", and they're good. I've had some of them for probably 4 or 5 years now. Get the double rifle cases, NOT the singles. You'll thank me later.
  13. I see that they haven't learned a fucking thing... Surprised, but not surprised. Not in the least. Dumbasses.
  14. Fuk CTD, in the neck.
  15. That's exactly what I did. Stuffed a complete Armalite operating system in a set of Aero Precision (DPMS-based) receivers.
  16. A week ago, I got trapped, and felt twitchy - and just did it. Primary Arms put the Gen II 5x Prism scope on sale at $100 off, and I was unable to resist that. This is the one that was supposed to be on this gun, and it is now...
  17. I have no fucking clue how much plane tickets will cost me, but I want to come over there and just hang out for a week, and see the shiit you do...
  18. You are an Animal, brother! ANIMAL!!! THAT IS BADASS!!!
  19. 16" barreled .308 bolt gun, Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle (Ruger GSR). Rattled my teeth when I shot it, with that shitty compensator that Ruger ships it with. Had to put on a Spike's DynaComp to tame it down - so it didn't rattle my teeth anymore, and that worked. 11.5" 5.56 gun, A2 on the front of it. Fine. 7.5" 5.56 gun with an A2 on it - rattles your teeth. Had to put a Noveske KX-3 on that damn thing, and it fixed it. 13.5" .308AR, with an Armalite Competition Brake on it - perfectly fine, doesn't rattle teeth. It's a great setup. It comes down to what you do at the end of the muzzle, on shorter barrels, that makes the difference.
  20. That is gorgeous...
  21. Comes down to personal grip preference, more than anything else, until you get to the Gen 5 trigger. Triggers are easy to change, though, and the aftermarket is flooded with them. After shooting an original Glock 17, and that first round pull, I hated all Glocks forever - until I tried a 19X. Then I had to have it.
  22. That won't happen.Been through this several times now, and it clears - doesn't bottom. You'll be good.
  23. HELL YES!!!... I'd be right at home living in Fort As$hole...
  24. 98Z5V

    Bobcat...

That bastard hasn't been back. I've got two trailcams out back looking for it, and nothing yet. With the amount of noise I usually make here, the neighbors wouldn't think anything of a .22 blank going off...
  25. There are 3 factory mags with that 19X, and the MagPuls are indeed easier to load up to the max.
