  1. Brother, you WERE SETUP by someone here, THROUGH someone here... You need to find that middle-man... He's the key to this whole operation, that is against you...
  2. https://forum.308ar.com/uploads/monthly_2018_10/VID_20181018_162901631.mp4.96aaa9e99466aeddeb8b762a60c10456.mp4 Shockwave, pistol brace, 2 3/4" 7 1/2 birdshot against the dueling tree - these loads usually wouldn't even turn the plate, but it did on some...
  3. Matt @ Demo Ranch does a really good job at explaining this one, with our screwed up firearms laws - this is a good vid on "the configuration... "
  4. WASHIE... there's only ONE GUY HERE ON THIS BOARD that's a dealer for them... I'm just sayin'... He HAS to be part of this... If you track that dude down, I'm almost positive that he is incapable of lying to you, if you corner him very directly, and ask him very specific questions... I almost KNOW IT... He's way above that, and a straight shooter. Find that guy...
  5. Hell yeah, brother! Open that thing up and see what's in there!!!
  6. You're being conspired against, brother. The search is on...
  7. You need to mate barrel nut threads with upper receiver threads - thread mating, on two separate parts, usually of two different materials. You NEVER do that with dry threads, because you'll gall the fuk out of them, and they'll seize. Even if it's the SAME material, its never, ever good - I've galled enough stainless-only and aluminum-only hardware to tell you that's the truth. I'm shocked that dude even said that - he needs slapped, and I'll say that publicly... What a dumbass... FOr barrel nuts - if you've never heard this yet- you don't tighten it and forget it. Torque it once, WITH GREASE, loosen it. Hit again for #2, and loosen it, hit it again for #3, and SET IT. You do this THREE TIMES before you set it down to torque...
  8. I've long considered a KSG, and had no idea it would just EAT the mini-shells. However, NutNFancy will not be my resource or endorsement for anything... Ever...
  9. That bastard...
  10. I think that exact same thing every time I go to the range...
  11. I had no idea that the little short bastards FED through a KSG... when you gotta do other things to your gun to get them to feed from it. They DON'T feed in a Mossberg autoloader, and they DON'T Feed in a Rem 870... I tried the Mossberg 930 - No Go. I don't own a Remington shotgun, and never will... They only feed in a Mossberg pump IF you run that adapter... and they run like a champ with that thing, too...
  12. I'm down with the 30 Carbine, brother. You had some weird ones in the last post, too - 8mm Mauser on hand? Throw that 45-70 from the last post in there if you still have it, and give me a running total in a PM. I'm down.
  13. Thanks for the tip - we're all over Sam at Panhandle, here.
  14. Welcome. I'm right up your alley here. Just finished a .260 Rem build. Still finalizing loads.
  15. You said three things in there that don't mix. California. Mexican. Ammo. Those three things can ONLY exist together IF you're talking about illegal Mexican aliens in that state...
  16. Get to how you're feeding it in your KSG, man...
  17. When I visited the manufacturing site in Phx to pick up gas tubes - they are struggling to get everything together, under one roof. Call them, brother, on the phone. Go through the push-#s to get to Armalite, and you'll talk to either a "Clay" or "Cody"... I think it was Cody... You'll get set up, right away...
  18. By the way, they tell you that you can fit 8 of the 1.75" mini shells in a Shockwave. You can fit 9, easily. Plus a 2 3/4" in the chamber, first off. 10 rounds from a 14" barreled "firearm" is pretty fucking cool.
  19. My Pusher has it, in STACKS, brother. I keep telling him he needs to donate it to me... Slugs, too. Piles of it on his counter. Makes me sick...
  20. How did those little short shells feed in the KSG? The size of them seems to be a problem for most shotguns, so I'm curious to know what Kel-Tec is doing different to get them to feed in the KSG... Here's what I have to do to get them to feed in a Mossberg (500 and 590): Without this OPSol Mini Clip, it won't happen in a 500./590. Not even. WITH it, they feed flawlessly. Curious what Kel-Tec is doing different to keep these mini's going on there...
  21. Matt Cross just stated to me, personally - I KID YOU NOT... I can't think of ANY other way to describe it, better than that...
  22. Put that on your Secret Santa Wishlist, brother...

    Grilling

This is 2.5 hours into a 6 hour cook. 4.5 lb beef chuck roast. it came up to room temp then got heavy salt for 1.5 hours per side, to break it down and season it. Bottom layer is 4 diced potatoes, then diced large yellow onion, then meat, with a healthy dose of LaRue Dillo Dust, then a package of dried Beefy Onion Soup mix. Layered out the sliced Poblano peppers, and then the pepperocini's on top. Smack that crock pot on high, let 'er go for 6 hours... YUM!
