  1. Nope, not working for me. Show me the money, Ed... I bought 1,000 of these from Pappy1600 a few years ago, for $200 shipped. You keep messing around, and I'll be forced to bargain with you...
  2. Hell, show me the headstamp, and I'll probably take it...
  3. Hell, if it doesn't say that, it's just regular Hornady brass...
  4. With the headstamp... that says, "HORNADY 308 MATCH..." ...'cause that's what the Match brass says on it...
  5. Damn. That is cheep!
  6. Section Rules, Ed. How long you been here?... Tape is cheap. Cut it open. Also, am I getting ONE ROUND of once fired brass, for a hundred fifty bucks? You never said...
  7. Is that still going on ON Saturday?! I'm driving down for 2 lowers, if that's the case!!! AWESOME HEADSUP!!! Yes, yes they are stillhaving the 25th Anniversary sale on Saturday. NICE!!! https://2ndamendmentsports.com/tucson-sale/

    DAMN!!!
  9. I saw this news pop up and got ahold of Greg right away. Too much in the news that could have been messed up, local PD dog handler, state involved, and I'm firing messages to him. Got a hit back right away, and I love my brother. This is a crazy, sad situation.
  10. DAAAAAAAAAMN!!!
  11. You can use an AR15 billet to make a 300 AAC Blackout, though...
  12. Fulton Armory is a patriotic group. Clint McKee is very patriotic. He has sales around traditional/patriotic holidays, i.e., Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas... Those sales are 10% off anything in the store. His biggest sale of the year is 15% off, and that's at President's Day.
  13. You'll get it. Honestly, I've heard of guys recommending to start with one of the composite 80% lowers - those things machine WAY easier, and you get the hang of it quicker. Do one or two, then move to an aluminum one. Hell, punch out a couple composite AR15 lowers first, get used to it. Then bust out the next 308 lower.
  14. That section by your thumb - that's where it's gotta be thicker, to hold/support the safety detent. It's done.
  15. HAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!
  16. For that setup, I'd say Sprinco Orange spring. It just works. It's specifically designed for the 308s with the 7" extensions and 2.5" buffers.
  17. Valid point. ^^^ could break an anvil in a sandpit...
  18. Check the length of the gas tube, in the upper receiver. It should protrude to the middle of the cam pin cutout.
  19. I've got a snap-on 1/2" drive torque wrench that'll do 250 lb/ft. Ship that barrel and I'll give it a shot at alignment.
  20. Good man, AR T... Look at it this way - you were fortunate to be able to learn from him and have him mentor you for the year.
  21. Grease the threads on the barrel nut (or threads on the upper receiver), and run it down, back it off. Do that three times, and run it down moderately snug - then tighten it to the next notch that will clear the gas tube. You'll be fine.
  22. You're good, man - don't sweat it. Don't go anywhere - stay and have fun.
  23. It's got enough movement to lock back, and strip new rounds - but it's running short. That brass is ejecting while the BCG is shorter in it's stroke - even by a little bit. Mentally, that's what I can come up with on it. If it cycled just a little further back, with more BCG travel, it would be running a little "less fast & harsh." It'll be throwing brass in a different place.
  24. Right on, man! Some of this will touch up the stake marks easy - just dab it right on there. Make sure you get the Flat Black...
