  1. Well, it was the magazines that are backordered - my trigger showed up today. I didn't even know that they split the order and shipped it separate. That was a cool surprise!
  2. Alot of people probably have NO IDEA about this, but Battle Arms original name was M14 Tools. Check this out - google "m14tools.com" and see what you get...
  3. That upper - in the old days, I'd say it's worth it, because of the adherence to the mil-spec standard. Nowadays, there's tons of manufacturers that meet or beat the mil-spec standard. There's a KAC M4 RAS on there - pick them up all day long now for much cheaper than the $400 retail. Matech BUIS on there, again, pick them up all day long for cheaper than retail. I've seen some of those as cheap as $50 brand new. Usually, they're closer to $100 brand new.
  4. I'll fire some info to you tomorrow about it - glad you came back! I thought we scared you off!
  5. I knew I could get you in here with that bait, brother...
  6. Yeah, yeah - I know what you guys are thinking already. Just tell me if you'd ride it or not... Jetski with a Hayabusa engine swap.
  7. I jumped on this as soon as the email announcement hit my inbox. I threw in a couple E-Lander 6.5 Grendel mags. I got my email almost right away that my order was in a "backorder" status. I don't know if it's because of the triggers, or the mags. I thought LaRue just received a large shipment of the Grendel mags. Lemme know what you guys get for info.
  8. Got it brother - the Hazard 4 Sidewinder, full size laptop sling bag. https://www.hazard4.com/sidewinder.html
  9. Brother, my bag is the Hazard 4 Plan B. That's it, in the pic above with yours. They make a longer one now called the Takedown (about 1 full pocket longer). https://www.hazard4.com/packs/takedown.html Here's the Takedown in "Grayman." https://www.hazard4.com/packs/grayman-takedown.html There's another one I just found a few days ago, but I can't remember the name right now - I'll find it and post it up tonight.
  10. You guys read that, then laughed so hard that you snorted. I know it...
  11. Welcome, Josiah, and like a few others said already - it's good to see PSA taking the CS and product details seriously. It's an honor that you're here. The 308ARs you're cranking out now, the Gen 2s, are head and shoulders above the first gen stuff. One major thing to fix right away would be the 308 Carbine recoil system. I can give you all the details you'll need on that. Love, Tom
  12. It's back... Just started this morning... https://www.larue.com/products/larue-tactical-mbt-2s-trigger/
  13. Get into that recoil system pretty far - check everything out. This has all the details, and there are other thread links in this link: At a bare minimum, if you have the "long" carbine receiver extension - it's internally too long. Either 7 7/8" internal depth or 8" internal depth. Your buffer should be 3.25" long for that kind of recoil system, but the internal depth on the receiver extension should have been 7 5/8" dead nuts on, for it to operate properly.

    Pretty damn good game. Wow...
  15. Hand-turned solids, on a lathe, would be my guess. I doubt we will ever find out. The only thing we know now, and maybe forever, is that whatever it was, the MSM thinks "Armor Penetrating Ammunition" sounds pretty fuckin' evil, and they like using the words together...
  16. What a great way to showcase that ignorant phone caller!...
  17. I'm not getting too worked up about that information just yet - we've been through this before, with Obama's ATF. They wanted to classify M855 // SS109 as "armor piercing ammunition." They wanted to classify solid-material projectiles as "armor piercing," just because they were one material, and a solid. Barnes Bullets filed for an exemption for their TSX line of projectiles, and it took a very long time to get them back - and it was a short list. The .224" 70gr TSX disappeared for quite awhile, because Barnes didn't put it on their original request for exemption. So, who in the world knows how this FBI is classifying this ammo... nobody does. Are they using the older ATF definition, of the projectiles being a solid? Who knows. Sounds like bullshiit and a frame-job, though, if you ask me.
  18. I think the next one will be the Spring Shootfest, sometime in March. That might be a last-minute throwdown, due to a special guest shooting member. We need more details. @StainTrain, get in here, brother. The regularly scheduled event is in the fall, and we've got plenty of time to figure that one out. Might be November, it's been thrown down between Christmas and New Year's before... We're "flexible..."
  19. That dude that came in here, cleaned up on the contests, and got all the prizes... You need to come over here for the next AZ Shootfest, brother... for real...
  20. Very valid point - send him a PM over there - they don't usually like "other boards" - and tell him that we've already solved a BUNCH of problems for them... Seriously... He needs to come here, read up, and be a little gracious for our work. Well, bfoosh's work, mostly.
