  1. LaRue makes .260 Rem barrels...
  2. Research info from Todd Hodnett on the .260 Rem. He's probably the biggest proponent of it right now, as of what it can do long-range. Amazing distance shooter.
  3. ^^^ Yep. The 2017 magazine is out now. Hornady 9th Edition:
  4. First release is late Feb 2017...
  5. Paperclip works.
  6. This time, it's 6~24x50 scope, with the popular reticle of the ACSS HUD. Done deal for me, for the 300 Win Mag. http://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-6-24x50-front-focal-plane-scope-patented-acss-hud-308-reticle-pa6-24x50ffp-acss-hud-308 Will arrive somewhere in Feb 2017.
  7. You've been quoting that alot lately... do you know the origins of that, here, or are you just saying it because others have stated it - without knowing the origins?
  8. And spotting scopes go up to 60x. They are tripod-mandatory. Old .mil days was the Steiner 10x binos, and those things are badass. The "real" ones had a mil-graduation reticle, and are pricey.
  9. This is gonna be a badass rifle.
  10. Yep.
  11. Our local Floridian queues in on the alligator skin immediately...
  12. I found it "odd" that "Loki Weapons" is looking for public opinions on how to make a lightweight .308AR... Maybe its just me...
  13. HELL YES!!! I'm a fan of that choice!!! Personally, I have a Stack of Kimbers...
  14. I think for the "flattest shooting" caliber... the .260 Rem will shoot "flatter" to 1k yards over the .338 LM. Anyone find anything that's different from that thought? .260 Rem slightly outperforms 6.5 Creedmoor. Proven. 6.5C guys don't like to admit that, and they'll fight you over it. But, they're not correct.
  15. This. Based on the screen name.
  16. Ran some weight numbers on the Pig Puncher, thus far. It doesn't FEEL this heavy, I swear! The Coke-Gram Scale has a max weight limit, so I broke a few things down - which is a benefit. Individual weights on a few key parts. PMag 20, loaded with 20 rounds of Federal Fusion 200-grain .338 Fed rounds = 25.40 oz Lower receiver assembly, complete = 44.50 oz Upper receiver setup, NO BCG, NO charging handle= 66.55 oz BCM Gunfighter 308 charging handle, Large latch = 1.40 oz D Wilson BCG, complete = 17.65 oz Beachin Tactical sling, WITH QD sling mounts = 6.55 oz Total on the gun, as it sits in the pics = 162.05 oz. That's 10.128 lbs, with a 20-round mag of 200-grainers, loaded. NO sights yet. The MagPul MBus Pro offset sights come in tomorrow, PA 1~6 scope and mount next week. I'll update those parts-weights, and re-total.
  17. Good binos are usually fixed-power, also.
  18. ^^^ 9th Edition... I'll pick up the new one quick. They used to have their "new load data that's not in the current book" online. And I didn't save the .338 Fed info when I had the chance. With the new release, that info isn't on the website anymore... Have to buy the book now...
  19. Yes, that's an Armalite model.
  20. I'm down with them as Dipshidiots.
  21. Here's the whole vid of the "Shasta County Men..." -titled video. You'll have to download it. Shasta_Co_men_create_part_to_make_guns_legal_under_new_law_KRCR(1).mp4
  22. ^^^ I love this place...
  23. You fukker!... This is my plan for the 338 LM as well - so we need to get together so I can shoot yours!!!...
  24. Shiit. Hornady just released the 10th Edition... I just found out...
  25. Lightest buttstock system that you're gonna find, that's still strong enough to smash something in the head with. http://www.battlearmsdevelopment.com/sabertube-tm-bad-lbs-lightweight-stock-combo
