  1. i'm still amazed at how badly we've fucked this thread up... <lmao>
  2. That kinda doesn't matter - you're not shooting 800 meters with iron sights unless you're a competition guy. If you're a competition guy, you won't be doing it with that rifle, and making successful competition scores. me thinks you needs de Space Gun setup. That's my final answer, Regis.
  3. Oh, stop sugar coating it, Matt. It's titanium, Bro... :bitchslap: <laughs>
  4. Holy Fuk - 44gr under a 180 is gonna be a stout load! Brace Yourself!
  5. UNASS THAT CHAIR, BROTHER!!! <lmao>
  6. I like you, man - you're persistent like nerve agent. <thumbsup>
  7. They would be a very damn good choice. I'm sending my 18" .308 barrel to them for cutting down to 14"-ish.
  8. 0.025' isn't a big difference when on the same plane. With 45* offsets, you're into two different axis that you have to comp/adjust for. There's enough elevation adjustment to make it work on the same plane, so there will be enough elevation adjustment to work with the 45* setup. You should have enough windage adjustment in the rear sight to make the 45* setup work on your rifle. Ultimately, the best fix is a rail system that matches the upper receiver height.
  9. ^^^ deadnuts on the money. <thumbsup>

But... did it taste great with gravy?
  11. I used lead shot, until i found a crankshaft machining shop - then i started getting tungsten from them. Caution - when you use lead shot, and you take the buffer apart later, everything inside the buffer body looks like schit. All the lead dust probably isn't good for you, either. Eh, whatever.
  12. The PRS comes with the correct screw to use - did you not use it when you installed the stock?
  13. ^^^ I have that happen. More often than I'd like to admit. ^^^ That's usually when I realize it... <lmao>
  14. Yeah, you're right - "spare" voltage sitting on top of 7lbs of explosive powder isn't really a big deal... <lmao>
  15. The C-130 blowing flares is the baddest schit on the planet.... :hail:
  16. I'm an ass about old threads - and when I read it 11 months ago, i looked at the date/time stamp before i replied... <lmao>
  17. Right on, brother!!!
  18. Red SC, it all makes sense now - VERY nice!
  19. That rifle is 3 years old now, guys...
  20. DAMN, that thing is sweet! :hethan:
  21. ARIZONA. We will host you well. <thumbsup>
  22. Well, it COULD be. What are you doing this weekend? <lmao> Yep, crickets...
  23. "Worst case scenario" and inventing schit to worry about are two different things. You're all wrapped around the axle over this, and you don't need to be. The comment of "but the longer one sits, the more likely it is you'll have a slightly less accurate..." is proof of that. You can zero it today, park it in your safe for 25 years untouched, and it's not going to be less accurate.
  24. Yep, last digit in the serial is a K if it was made as a stripped lower. They don't deviate from that.

Need to see pics of this one, or I'm calling Complete Bullsheit on it. Show your Sterling AR180, man. Technology isn't difficult, anymore, and you can Google ANYTHING these days. Google up some "How do I post pics to a forum" and you can make this happen in short order. I'll help - just hit this link: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=How+do+I+post+pictures+to+an+internet+message+forum%3F
