Cali_Ed Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 I haven't bought anything today and my fingers getting itchy. I'm thinking of getting that m11 muzzle break and something else to lower some recoil. Ready set go!!
98Z5V Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 I think we've created a monster... <lmao>
DNP Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 You don't have the stones to order that tonight....
Cali_Ed Posted February 24, 2015 Author Report Posted February 24, 2015 Would you guys I'd benifit more from the brake or the slash buffer? I have a benny cooley brake already but if a more efficient one exist?
bubbasks Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 Id bc brake isnt good enough then u need to rethink shooting 308 lol. I usually put 70 or 80 rounds through a 6 lb 7 mag following each to the target and consider 308 a joy
Cali_Ed Posted February 24, 2015 Author Report Posted February 24, 2015 Don't get me wrong my rifle is pretty easy shooting. I enjoy shooting the 308. Nothing wrong with trying to push the limits in certain aspects?
Magwa Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 you will love both but when you get them you will then want your rifle to have a better trigger hurry up and get in on the Elftman trigger group buy...... then the cosmos will all be in order...... :)
MONTANA308 Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 I think magwa just won buy both and a new triggers lol get to buying sir. SLR adjustable gas block also if ya dont have a adjustable block just my 2cents!
FaRKle! Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 The brake will do more than the SCS.
Cali_Ed Posted February 24, 2015 Author Report Posted February 24, 2015 (edited) Who is elfmen? I have a g-sse. Is getting the the slash buffer reduce I good amount or is it negligible? As for the brake I watched the video from the other thread about the test with the diffrent brakes. If I recall the 40 dollar jerry one did better the the 100 pa m11 Edited February 24, 2015 by Cali_Ed
Magwa Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 seriously, is there really a issue with recoil in a 308? I have a adjustable carbine stock on mine and even with 168's and 175's recoil is almost nothing.... just saying buy all the stuff let us know.... :) just trying to help out a brother... <thumbsup>
Cali_Ed Posted February 24, 2015 Author Report Posted February 24, 2015 Nah, it's not bad at all. But what's wrong with trying to reduce it some more ?

BigP623 Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Ed, just convince yourself that the rifle is causing you some kind of shoulder condition and you need to "fix" the issue by making the stress the rifle puts on your shoulder less.....that should justify hitting the order button.
Microgunner Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Screw it, you only live so long. If you want it buy it.

Looked up the slash buffer it's 150 shipped almost cried
DNP Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 I believe I heard somewhere that money doesn't matter when it comes to the .308.
Cali_Ed Posted February 25, 2015 Author Report Posted February 25, 2015 Doesn't mean one can't cry a little ;)
