Nope, it's pretty simple.

Search for a part by-name before you ask how it works.  There's ALOT of stuff that's been mentioned, reviewed, covered, whatever - here before.

Should you decide to ask how a certain product is, works, tastes, whatever - and nobody here has gone over that product in some way - then you own it.

Pick it up, install it, mount it, whatever - and let us know how it does.  <thumbsup>

Typically, just asking about a product in an already-ongoing thread is one thing, but starting a topic about it and asking how it does is usually what gets "The Rule" invoked on someone...  <lmao>

^^^  A few of us have done that before - recently, too...  <lmao>

"Hey, have you guys ever...?" - when it's already on the way.

I pulled a sneak attack a couple years ago, and found something.  Didn't say a damn thing about it here.  Mounted it up and listed the review...   It was hard keeping quiet about it...  <laughs>

First off, Rule 65b always applies.

Second, "The Rule" forced me to buy a $70 custom stainless steel bolt catch and a $1000 carbon fiber wrapped barrel. I may also owe my addiction to BattleComp to "The Rule" as well.

THE RULE

If you post, inquiring about a product, be it new or old, and no one responds with a review within 48 hours, you are hereby required to buy said product, and review that product, so that this rule doesn't apply to the next person with the same inquiry. "The Rule" shall not apply to the announcement of new or upcoming products, unless there is some context inquiring as to who will be the first to assume ownership of said product. At that point "The Rule" will once again apply to the poster, who will be obligated to be the first in the stated question.

While this shouldn't need to be stated... pictures are required, or that schit didn't happen.

The rule is in effect for me.  I asked about a product that no one has ever mentioned on here before and a bunch of people chimed in on me posting a review.

Yep it cost me a Fortis angle grip for that new grey Daniel Defense I bought. I tried it didn't like sent it back but I posted my comments on it. Thankfully my Google-foo is strong and I know how to search the 3 forums I belong to, but this one is my favorite.
