Looks like you all have a great site here.  I plan on doing some serious reading as I just found myself with a bunch of new AR10 parts to put together for my first (i'm sure not last" 308

 

 

Hopefully I won't have to ask too many newb questions.  You guys seem to be pretty organized here.

What would one call a Mega Arms Megalithic receiver set and Mega barrel and LMT bCG  etc etc etc....I gotta learn the diff so I don't feel like a A$$

Hi lab  Ive got a Mega monolithic build,and I call it an Ar308.....you have a quality piece!    :) Wash

Mega receivers are AR-10 patterned, but that designation is usually used with the Armalite brand specifically. You could say 308 AR in general, or MA TEN to be brand specific.
