blue109 Posted May 20, 2015 Report Posted May 20, 2015 Costa said so. Glad we can put all this behind us now http://www.tactical-life.com/gear/45-acp-vs-9mm-ammo/#bsum-buffoni
shepp Posted May 20, 2015 Report Posted May 20, 2015 Good read I'm gonna schedule that for the fb page
wetncold Posted May 21, 2015 Report Posted May 21, 2015 I still like my 45's. I own a 9mm now, but it's my truck gun. Need more shots on moving targets.
Robocop1051 Posted May 21, 2015 Report Posted May 21, 2015 The main argument for 9mm is still; high capacity and cheaper to practice with. The main argument for the .45 is still; bigger holes We needed 14 "experts" to regurgitate 100 year old arguments.
blue109 Posted May 21, 2015 Author Report Posted May 21, 2015 No robo...only one expert was neededed.
392heminut Posted May 21, 2015 Report Posted May 21, 2015 (edited) But what about the 40? <dontknow> >:D <lmao> Edited May 21, 2015 by 392heminut
slugger43 Posted May 21, 2015 Report Posted May 21, 2015 But what about the 40? <dontknow> >:D <lmao> Exactly! And I'll bet nobody who ever sucked down one of those thinks of it as a "compromise round"....Hey, it's my go-to!
blue109 Posted May 22, 2015 Author Report Posted May 22, 2015 Here's your .40 expert! https://youtu.be/9ABCiPJRCyA
Matt.Cross Posted May 22, 2015 Report Posted May 22, 2015 It's a reverse psychology ploy to keep them from getting in gunfights where they have to face a .45ACP. I don't blame them, I don't want to be up against one either. :D
planeflyer21 Posted May 22, 2015 Report Posted May 22, 2015 There was a study a couple of decades ago on caliber used vs. distance the gun fight started. IIRC, the .38 and .357 had the closest engagements, 9mm not far behind, with the .45acp coming in the furthest at 21'. The author concluded that people who carried .45s were smarter and didn't let perps get too close.
sketch Posted May 22, 2015 Report Posted May 22, 2015 Selling all my 9's were easy and I made money on the deals!
