Ignore this, didnt see you got it fixed. Had that happen once, still don't know why. If there is enough space, slip a flat blade screwdriver into the gap through the ejection port and see if you can catch the front corner of the BCG with the blade edge and genltly pull back on it to eject the brass. If it is the same issue I had, the BCG should come back. Good luck with it.

Don't worry, Wash, it's all 168gr FGMM until I get her fully broken in, at least.  Honestly, though, that chamber may never see a steel casing, coated/plated or not.
And it's ok, Sisco, we've ALL made a post or two in our sleep before :))

Edit:  Just don't forget the masking tape on the blade of the screwdriver, those bastards tend to scratch up EVERYTHING

Glad to see you got it running. How's the shockwave of that Cooley brake? Lol

It's funny you'd mention that; my brother was with me when I took that first shot. He thought he saw the brass get ejected, but it was just the muzzle blast pushing the grass over 20' to my sides!

I'd like to find a high speed camera so I can see the blast in slo-mo, I bet that schit's massive!

I like how you put that, Matt, sounds like another ancient chinese proverb.  Good point <thumbsup>

So what would you recommend for lube during break-in, Mobil1 20W50 full synthetic?

Mobil 1 10W-40 is usually easily found at your average Tractor Supply, Auto Zone or Walmart.  a quart goes a long ways if you catch the amount that drips off.
