USMC Sgt. Thomas Sullivan,2 tours in Iraq earning the Purple Heart.Surviving the Battle of Abu Ghraib. USMC Lance Cpl. Squire "Skip" Wells USMC Staff Sgt. David Wyatt,3 deployments.2 in Iraq. USMC Sgt. Carson Holmquist Navy logistics specialist Randall Smith severly wounded. :'( That God welcomes these men into heaven with open arms,condolence to the griving families. This will get worse before it get's better,sadly.
GRA Posted July 18, 2015 Report Posted July 18, 2015 I cannot, and will not EVER, understand how somebody made sense to prohibit our military from being armed. Absolutely LUDICROUS. Just about everybody that can legally own firearms has the authority to carry in some manner in most places but our military IN UNIFORM cannot be armed. Unbelievable.

Had to keep them in the arms room and get "permission" to draw them. Finally bought a pistol when I got an unauthorized apartment off post. My roomie on the other hand had a bushmaster and a FN FAL inside a slit in his mattress.

392heminut Posted July 22, 2015 Report Posted July 22, 2015 My son is stationed at 29 Palms now but his guns are all here in his safe. He said the same thing, it's just too much of a hassle to have personal firearms in the military.

Wash Beating the same drum here (let me know if it gets old) but the flag wasn't lowered because it was a confirmed muslim doing the murdering.
