Cali Gun List

Recommended Posts

So how about my M&P .40 S&W?  It's FDE AND black!  Does that just confuse the hell out of the Californicators, or what?  In fact, my .308AR Ghost gun is also black and FDE, not to mention huge magazines and no bullet button, so I might be doubly screwed if I came to Cali. Is there a penalty if your rifle color matches your pistol color in Cali?  So it's really, actually, another $25,000 for each color of identical pistols?

Yep. It's a chity list. Now...it doesn't make the gun illegal to own in CA, just illegal to sell new.   I wanted a kimber desert warior...not on the list. I can get the black one, and THEN paint it any color I would like....just can't buy it in the color I would like. I was looking into a Wilson Combat at one point...they said I would have to buy one list approved and then send it back to them and they would cerakote it. Hell, if I'm going that route....might as well pick an artist to handle it. Don't know how we get dipshit laws like this. Makes a ton of sense.....I think their hopes were that nobody would pay the 25000 to sell a gun. I bet it's 250000 soon.

25,000 is an overall estimated cost to get ALL their models on the list. The stupid handgun certification costs $500 AND the company has to submit 3 of the pistols. The pistols cannot vary in make/model/material/color/caliber/barrel length. If there's any variations, anot her $500 fee and 3 more pistols.

If glock wanted their Gen4 line on CA's list, it would cost them approx $2k per pistol for approval.

So I heard the money is determined by model number.  Do you know if that is correct?

Also, does anyone know what tests, if any, they run on the three guns submitted, or what the approval standards are, or why the hell it takes three guns?

That is what I got from the articles. One model... $25k ...3 guns plus test fees. What a racket. Line those bastards up and cuff them all. Racketeering charges for each legislatetor that voted for that bill.

I bet if all the gun manufacturers quit selling guns to California law enforcement, things would change pretty quickly.

Or not.

The Commie's want no guns in the hands of the people !

$$ is where you can hurt them , believe it or not , we hold the key's to all of this ,but I don't think there would be enough people to participate to make a difference . I'm going to do my part & not purchase anything made or sold from that so called State, firearms related items only, nothing else & let them know it .
