DNP
Well, we had an unarmed 38 year old man of the certain shade that is no longer allowed to be shot by police(for any reason), shot and killed yesterday. So far there have been a few different groups of protesters, but most everything has been somewhat peaceful. Heard someone wandered in to the group and talked a little trash...he was looking for trouble and a handful of protesters delivered it to him. They stopped some traffic and were headed toward the freeway, but turned back when police told them to. My fingers are crossed that they can peacefully voice their frustration...wrong or not....and show other parts of the country how to handle it. In my opinion it looks like a clean enough shoot. I'll post a link. Without the violence, I'm not sure how much media this gets outside of town. This was about 2 miles from my house. http:// http://abc7.com/news/man-fatally-shot-by-police-in-el-cajon-idd-as-ugandan/1530816/ Edited September 29, 2016 by DNP Corrected age
DNP
Guy had hands in his pockets. Pulled something out and took this stance. This is a still image from a bystander video. Turns out it was a vape pen/e-cigarette We'll never know for sure, but I think this was suicide by cop. He was acting erratically and apparently very upset about his friend that died unexpectedly the other day. beantown
The news said he was walking down the middle of the street acting erratically. If it was suicide by cop I sure hope it's proven quickly. Gawd if it was suicide by cop I really feel for the officers. What a sucking situation to have to live with. planeflyer21
I pray the protests there are non-violent. Now instead of "Hands up, don't shoot!" they'll be crying "Don't smoke me! It's just a vape!"
survivalshop
No gun , & they don't care if its a good shoot or not , they just want to tear the world apart . Its already no a peaceful demonstration , its another Riot , as usual , nothing new , no waiting for the facts , because these people don't care . I want to know , when these people figure out that , IF THESE DEAD PEOPLE FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS ,THEY WOULD STILL BE BREATHING ! period . DNP
so far the town cancelled a weekly car show yesterday, their weekly concert in the park tomorrow night, and I believe there is talk of cancelling an October fest this weekend over it...just to be on the safe side. Still the only violent act they're reporting is a guy wearing trump hat or shirt wandered into the protest and likely was antagonizing. It's a shame that businesses around the town and the community in general are suffering from the fear of childish retaliation from groups that will never understand what they're really doing. Almost any one of these folks as an individual would have likely pulled the trigger as well if they were placed in the officer's shoes. I would love to see some of them take part in a training simulation so they could get a feel for how quick a decision needs to be made. There is no time to weigh the options or see how things play out when you are faced with the possibility of not going home at the end of your day. COBrien
"No justice, no peace..." is code for "If the officer isn't charged, convicted, and hanged by his pecker for use as a piñata, there will be riots." Their version of justice is an investigation which will lead to certain conviction. Any investigation which determines the shooting was justified will be called incomplete, incompetent, or corrupt. DNP
It's a tragedy for someone and definitely someone's family ANY time someone is killed. I feel for his friends and family for their loss, but this whole movement seems to be going the wrong direction. I will admit that there are bad apples in every walk of life, but a single race isn't the only spot it happens....and you can't say every time a member of that race is killed by an officer that it was the only reason or even part of the reason it happened. As I somewhat sarcastically stated in the start of this thread, is this race simply untouchable now? The officer's judgement for lethal force needs to be based on the color of one's skin? Come on, be real.

That quote is spot on, I was thinking about something like that last night after seeing a meme, how many "none blacks" are being shot for, well basically resisting arrest and being fools. Ever since the guy in fla shot that black kid I've said "don't act a fool don't get treated like a fool". Problem is in Mr rock's video he says use common sense and that greatly lacks in the majority.
survivalshop
This dead guy should have been deported anyway , they tried ,but he kept slipping through the Berry's Crack . DNP
So, Drudge has an article about the guy who got stomped for wandering into the protest in a Trump hat and trying to stir things up. Nice spin they put on it. "Trump supporter beaten by liberals". The poor bastards in the comment section haven't the slightest idea that this guy basically asked for it to have a story. A few have posted that, but of course they'll just be singled out as anti-trump trolls trying to spread lies.
