planeflyer21
Kansas was one of the states to pass a "We can do it in our state if it stays in our state" law for firearms and related products. Dude made suppressors, dumb customer posted a video of how much he loves his federally illegal suppressor, went to trial: http://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/nation-world/national/article116276598.html

It would depend on if the state in question has the nuts to prosecute feds for enforcing unconstitutional laws. Several states passed such legislation. Apparently Kansas thusfar has no gumption to pursue it further.

Very much like weed, the federal govt. has no constitutional authority to pass or enforce laws on either one other than interstate traffic/commerce. Problem is the people and states have ceded jurisdiction to the feds by not fighting the issue for decades. REPEAL THE NFA!
blue109
Irony...fedgov calling the Kansas law passed by the elected representatives of the people an unconstitutional loophole...while trying to regulate firearms with the internal revenue service
ARTrooper
I think the federal government is afraid we will end up with more firepower than them if they don't regulate us.
survivalshop
This is not the first State to do this , I'll be waiting for this to play out in the SCOTUS . There is an interesting twist to that Photo in the article , its on the papers he is holding . http://www.infowars.com/leaked-document-shows-trump-does-actually-plan-to-build-a-wall/ Edited November 23, 2016 by survivalshop

I won't. SCOTUS could say "Manufacturing toilet paper is illegal, people must now wipe with their own dirty laundry before washing it." Wouldn't make it anymore constitutional just because SCOTUS said so. Like JT said about the states ceding power to the feds out of laziness, the same can be said for states ceding authority to every whim of SCOTUS. I now dub them SCROTUS, ballsack of the nation.
