Made their way to the states, my friends in laws are at marti gras right now.......is it wrong I assume haji?

So far I only see one article on it, so it could be.

But it is also Mardi Gras.  One thing is for certain, there's lots and LOTS of drunks at Mardi Gras, so it could be just a drunk driver.

It would be pretty hard to smash a car into the main Mardi gras gatherings. All the side streets were blocked by cop cruisers the few times I went. Must have been off the beaten path somewhere.

In 2008 I got caught up IN a Mardi gras parade. Just minding our own business and next thing you know all the side streets were jammed full of people. We were stuck behind a panel truck handing out water and snacks to LEO. You would have thought one of them would have helped us off the route but we were totally ignored, had to travel the route through to the end.

Mardi Gras will be over Tuesday night, so no huge crowds. But that doesn't mean people won't overdrink.

My buddy was a SeaBee down near there.  When he told me about going to New Orleans, I asked "Did you go for Mardi Gras?!"

"No.  Why?"

"Because it's a big party!"

He said "New Orleans is always a big ass party, man!"

It's Halloween 365 days a year in the French Quarter. Still don't care for it especially in the summer. It lends a whole new meaning to "pew, pew, pew."

SUV plows into crowd at Marti Gras parade in Alabama. 12 injured ,4 critical the 73 year old man being held. Police saying it was an accident but are still investigating.

One of my best friends was 1/8 mile down the road, packed up his family and took them back the the beach house hes renting
