Sisco
Damn great story! I didn't have the privilige to serve. Always thought I would. Between school and a fiancees pressure (not my wife) and hearing problems I ended up not going. To this day I regret it. I had several friends and schoolmates who did, and four of them are on that wall. One was a good friend When I worked I used to get to Washington from time to time, and I still do when I go to advocate for the Great Lakes Fishery. Every time I go there, I visit the Wall and look them up. The first time I went, I promised myself that I would make sure they would be remembered by someone for who they were and what they did. And I intend to do that every time I go until I die. All those trips and I never knew about this.
Toolndie7
That is an awesome story! I too have never heard of this before now. Ive met that man Jan Scruggs in person in 2007 when my stepfathers name was added to that wall. He has done so much for this memorial and continues to do so. I visit DC often as I have friends there and always make sure I make a trip to the wall to pay my respects. There are no words. jtallen83
Great example of leadership! Secretary Zinke has a huge job ahead of him if he is going to change the progressive socialist culture that prevails in many of his agencies. Looks like he may be the right man for the job

shepp
To go with the vet theme here I had a great interaction with a vet owned company yesterday. I ordered some beard oil from a company in Alabama called warlord. USPS smashed the package and popped the top on one of the wash bottles and lost minimal product. I emailed them and told them what happened the rest is in the emails below this is why I support vet owned and small businesses

jtallen83
Enlighten me guys, why oil my beard? It sounds messy, my beard is down to my chest, wouldn't the oil stain my shirts and bibs on my overalls? I have a beard because I'm too cheap and lazy to shave, how much time and money would I be putting into my beard with these oil products?
