CMAN Posted January 22, 2013 Author Report Posted January 22, 2013 BP TACTICAL http://www.bptacticalservices.com/Does really good work and his prices are fair. They are supposed to open a new gun range on Fort Carson near the end of January.
Heffe01 Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Another Springs shooter here, though I live on Peterson AFB. These are good, cheap places to shoot. Ft Carson opened up a public range last week. http://www.elpasoco.com/CMSC/Pages/default.aspxDragonman Guns www.Dragonmans.comIf its nice outside, I will sometimes drive up in the mountains to either Chaffee County Range, or the Hot Sulfur Springs range. Both are free and ran by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Divisions.More can be found on this website: http://wildlife.state.co.us/Hunting/ShootingRanges/Pages/SERanges.aspxOr put an ad on craigslist looking for ranch land. Maybe shoot some varmints for them.
Waddy Posted July 19, 2013 Report Posted July 19, 2013 Meeker here. Any other Western Sloper's here in what "used" to be the great state of Colorado?
392heminut Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 Welcome Waddy! We got room for you down here in New Mexico! <thumbsup>
jjs72 Posted October 29, 2013 Report Posted October 29, 2013 Weld county Same here. I go to triggertime near longmont.
Luv2ride Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 Colorado Springs but moving to NC next year after the Army. I have shot at the Cheyenne Mountain Complex outside or Carson. Not a bad place to shoot moderate distance.
unforgiven Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 THANK YOU for you'r service brother.NC is a nice area.
Matt.Cross Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 THANK YOU for you'r service brother.NC is a nice area. It is nice. What part of NC are you coming to?
Luv2ride Posted November 26, 2013 Report Posted November 26, 2013 Thanks unforgiven. I'm not ready to leave CO yet but my outlaws have some health issues and step daughter is there. I also plan on attending Montgomery Community College out in Troy in 2014 or 2015, depending when my number gets called. We will live on White Lake until then around the wife's fam. If I can get into the local CC machining program I want to push off MCC until 2015 and get a formal machining education. Figure if I am going to make a livelyhood out of guns, I should get some "real" training.
Luv2ride Posted November 26, 2013 Report Posted November 26, 2013 THANK YOU for you'r service brother.NC is a nice area. Yeah man. It's something I thought I would never do back in the day. Now it will be hard to imagine life without it!
montanayankee Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 Did everyone leave Colorado when they started messing with our 2nd Amendment rights?? No posts in a year and a half? New to this forum- From Weld/ Boulder counties.
crimsonfalcon07 Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 I'm in the Parker area, but leaving in April, as my wife is getting stationed at Fort Sam Houston for the next few years.
montanayankee Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 Good luck Crimson, San Antonio is a nice area! No mountains though!
98Z5V Posted March 7, 2015 Report Posted March 7, 2015 Did everyone leave Colorado when they started messing with our 2nd Amendment rights?? No posts in a year and a half? New to this forum- From Weld/ Boulder counties. MagPul sure as hell did - just like they told them they'd do if they passed that stupid schit. :hail: I'm also damn glad that the GenPop had the guts to do those recall elections, and get rid of a couple schitbag politicians that started all that. More of the country needs to follow suit. :bat:
montanayankee Posted March 7, 2015 Report Posted March 7, 2015 I agree- it's time more folks start looking at the job our elected officials are doing and pull the plug on those who are caving in to the special interest groups that would see our 2nd Amendment rights dismissed!
HansRey Posted March 7, 2015 Report Posted March 7, 2015 I'm in the longmont area. Actuall moved back from texas due to work, I usually hit up Pawnee or hit my private land up north along the CO and WY state lines. Never have really been one for paying the outrageous range fee's most places put up. But I will be checking out the new place that USA Liberty Arms is building out in Johnstown.
montanayankee Posted March 8, 2015 Report Posted March 8, 2015 Welcome back Hans- I'm not too far from you- in Lafayette. I also like to shoot on public lands, but they keep adding restrictions. Soon there won't be anyplace to shoot except for private ranges! :'( I'll check out the USA Liberty site and thanks for the tip! <thumbsup>
HansRey Posted March 8, 2015 Report Posted March 8, 2015 Hey Montana, Yeah Not that far at all, I actually work down there in Lafayette. Yeah they are building a some big 100,000 sq feet indoor range and pro shop I believe it was. But yeah I will admit, pawnee sure is getting trashed out. Just out there friday. Also I did notice the best time to hit public land is during the week. Absolutely no one out there. But yes it is soon going to turn into nothing but private ranges unless you got private land.
