Nice looking rifle, Russ.

I think I have that same remote control.

Thanks Doc.

Samsung? Yep, that's for my 42" tv I "had to have" in the gun room. Thus far I've not watched ANY programming on it. I have used it to play music a bit, watched a "few DIY videos but mostly use it as a big bore camera monitor.

Next upgrade will probably be to get rid of the 600lb trigger lol.

Very well done, Russ.

There's lots of money out there in some really fancy 10/22 parts, and badass trigger packs.  The Ruger trigger is the cheapest trigger pack that you can get.  When those things first came out, I looked at them, and you can test the trigger pull right there in the package.  Some are good, others, not so much (but still better than stock).

I highly, highly recommend these guys for 10/22 trigger parts.  All my 10/22s have trigger parts from here - Power Custom, Grand Master LLC:

I've only done the Deep Dive on their full titanium kit one time, and it's EVERYTHING you need to make a better shooting 10/22.  I did that on an old 1970's rig that I found, with the real, metal lower/trigger guard.  That's my Appleseed Gun, right there.

All other guns got the hammer and sear packs, and a few other little doo-dads, but it changes the trigger immensely.  Turns it into a real trigger.  If you get some trigger parts from them, and you think they suck, I'll buy them from you for whatever you had to pay, plus your shipping to you, plus the shipping to me.  It's a No-Lose Offer, brother.  I say that, because I don't think you'll hate it, not at all.  But if...   I got you covered.  I'll use 'em!

P.S.  If you haven't cut up your bolt release yet, you need to do it.  5 minutes with a Dremel and a chainsaw sharpening bit, and convert it to an auto bolt release.  That's the first thing that every 10/22 should have.  Don't spend money on one - it's too easy to do it yourself.

Take your stock bolt release/bolt catch plate, and make it look like the pic below.  You still lock it back with the lever underneath, but to release the bolt, you just tug back the charging handle and it releases.

How To Modify Your Ruger 10/22 Bolt Lock For Automatic Release | Gun Values Board

It's the very first thing that should be done to every 10/22. IMHO, anyway. No more fucking around under the bottom of the gun, just to reload and chamber a round.  It takes longer to take it out of the gun and put it back in, than it takes to perform the modification to it.
