Unless it's super cheap, it's easier to buy up here. Single item export permit and ITAR is a pain on serialized goods. MDT also makes various accesories such as scope rings and bipods. The barrel is made by International Barrel Inc just down the road from MDT. The Trigger Tech trigger comes from back easy in Ontario. The action is made for EM Precision( Canadian gun builder) by Curtis out of Texas to EM's specs. On the plus side glass has been choosen and I'm going with the Apex Rival with MDT scope mount. Cunuckgaucho Posted February 25, 2023 Author Report Share Posted February 25, 2023 So update time The bad- rifle will not be coming to spring shoot , it will be done just before but I don't want it in shipping transit and arriving while I'm away and paperwork will not be done in time. Up here guns are mailed straight to our residences The good- once it arrives I not only file the rifle paperwork but adding handguns to the list seeing as I can still bring them back and forth( they also dropped the stupid reimportation fee per pistol).I'll also have time to work up some loads for the rifle.
