She told me that she really didn't know, and there wasn't anybody there that could correctly answer me on the 1:5" twist. She DID however tell me that all barrel designs and specs are determined by the owner, and I COULD email him directly and talk to him about it. So I did. My email: "I just noticed a new 12.5" midlength gas barrel on your website, this one is 416R stainless and has a 1:5" twist rate. Is that twist rate on that barrel to overstabilize 75 and 77 heavies to get more distance out of a 12.5" barrel? It'll get shot either Saturday or Sunday, with my 75gr Mk262 handloads, and I'll report back about it that day that I shoot it. KAK 12.5" midlength gas 5.56 barrel, Govt profile, 1:5" twist rate. I'll drive it to 450 for sure, and see what it does on the 609 target. It's currently just an upper, whilst I wait for one badass lower receiver to come in, then built that out, so this can be it's own gun. The lower that this is on in the pic below is my latest truck-gun lower. Optic is the Primary Arms 1-6 "Special Purchase" optic. 30mm tube, all Philllipines made, and the glass is unreal. This one has 160 MOA internal travel for both elevation and windage - and all their other 1-6 scopes have 140 MOA internal travel. I told you guys about this scope during a sale weelend, posted it up. It's $399, they regularly sell it for $339, and I posted the 24-hr deal where they were selling it for $179. I jumped on it. Lesson 65B. You snooze, you lose... Here's the Truck Gun upper that really goes to that lower - 7.5" 5.56 gun with a Witt Machine SME on it. Compared to the upper from above. Here's the full Truck Gun. 7.5" barrel, repeatable to 450 yards easy with the 75s, and I've smacked the 609 with it, and even if it misses, it's enough to scare a bastard that 609 yards away...
