But, it's a fully US supply chain, actual hard off switches for camera and mic (that actually switch them off). I run their computer hardware at home, nothing but. Targetting "smart" phones started to be a part of my job, in the former life, right towards the end of that life. The tech is crazy. The mere fact that I could turn your cell phone against you, in Oct 2000, is just crazy. I couldn't even turn the equipment ON - INSIDE the borders of the Continental United States. I had to find a deployment to another country, devise a training plan - just to power this shiit up, and run it. By the time 9/11 came around, there were full deployments of this stuff, the full training complete in every Group - we were ahead of it, then. The tech, then, was so powerful, just mind-boggling. More systems came out, different capabilities, different goals and objectives. Where I was, then, was a proving ground of "does it work"... And it did...
