planeflyer21 Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 This thing has some very cool scale to it! Jon
Robocop1051 Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 So sweeeet. I have a warm spot in my heart for side cars. I still want to do an off-road trip/hunt on a URAL.
planeflyer21 Posted April 5, 2013 Author Report Posted April 5, 2013 My friend had a Ural...not the best bike for him. He bought it so he could work on it...but he doesn't work on stuff. There was a dude selling the Ukrainian version in kit-form for like $4k, the two-wheel drive. Haven't seen those in awhile. They also were 850cc's! Jon
Microgunner Posted April 5, 2013 Report Posted April 5, 2013 Someone beat the poop outta that sidecar with an ugly stick. Next someone will be making their '57 Chevy look like a motorcycle sidecar.

george_995 Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 (edited) I think the extra headlights would be useful night riding, that is if the lights are functional. I saw a badass trike the other day on my lunch break. It was custom build with a volkswagen rear end with awesome frame work. The guy was handicapped and had a special mount for his wheelchair rigged for dismount. I am sure there is a club or chapter in my county for trikes, I see them on the road frequently. Wish I had taken a picture. Edited April 6, 2013 by george_995
Microgunner Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 george, what does your signature line mean? Bing translate couldn't translate.
Robocop1051 Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 (edited) It's an Irish/Gaelic proverb for "don't make hay on a windy day" or "don't make thatching on a windy day". It means there's an appropriate an inappropriate time/season to do something. Edited April 6, 2013 by Robocop1051

A friend of mine was struck by a drunk driver and lost both his legs, he now rides a bad ass springer trike the rear end is pretty bare no fancy fiber glass conversion kit, also has an indian larry built motor in it. he mounts his wheel chair on the back. Honestly I get alil tear of joy every In my eye every time I see him riding around town

planeflyer21 Posted April 11, 2013 Author Report Posted April 11, 2013 This one is awesome! Apparently I need an English wheel, a shear, and a brake. Jon
edgecrusher Posted April 11, 2013 Report Posted April 11, 2013 Jon, the fins are backwards on that one
planeflyer21 Posted April 11, 2013 Author Report Posted April 11, 2013 That grill needs to slide back to reveal the mini-gun, mounted with an ability to articulate 20* right or left. Jon
