So Im thinking of unloading $4000 worth of gear for one of these

This. A friend has the TRG-22 .308 and it's the most accurate factory rifle I have ever seen. Now if I unload $6000 worth of stuff or $4000 and skip the new receiver This would be very cool too.

 

I figure I need another bolt gun, something that hits a little harder than my 22-250 <laughs>

I just got back from the gun store...they have 3 of the TRG's but only one in .338. Very nice feeling rifle.

I don't think any mags you guys would be interested in will be on the list. I think I only have M14 mags going, and if a buddy buys my GSG5 he will have first crack at the GSG5 mags. No AR, LR 308's or pistol magazines

Sometimes it does good to talk this stuff out. I was chatting with a good friend this evening and we decided a better plan would be to ditch my DPMS 24" rifle and keep the MATEN set. I think I will do that but I will need to reconfigure the DPMS first. Swap the trigger and stock to something else.

There you go. The Maten is by far the most beautiful receiver set out there. I love all of Mega's work. What about a NM trigger and an A2 stock?
