Stripper clips for 5.56 do you use them?

Well do ya? I have been using them again and forgot how convienent they are .... do you like them or no?

Just bought a bunch to store. makes for a quick reload also have the maglula you can use as well yet still have to line them up but a tad faster than by hand. Edit striplula and I think you can put the clip in the lula and let it fly.

Yeah I like them for storing ammo too just keeps things nice and tidy....

Always have liked stripper clips…once I learned how to use them.  Properly.

 

They are a little different to use when loading mags up but they sure are LOTS faster!

I'm a sissy. I only use stripper clips if I have the key to attach to the mag, to assist. I swear I'm an absolute primate when using stripper clips.

Yea I had never used them, so I buy a can ammo on clips, first thing I lose is the key, Then I learned on here what the key was for........

I have two keys left. The jackasses who pack the shyt, don't keep them with the ammo cans anymore. You used to get a new key with every can. It's not like they break the bank to make!!!

Yup, those are the ones... I guess loading "spoon" is a more appropriate term than "key".

I've got a 1# coffee can full of stripper clips and a handful of the keys, but I don't use them generally. I've kept the stuff for use with stockpile ammo but could never seem to load ammo any faster than I was shooting it! Now that my son is in Okinawa maybe I can get ahead and store some away, he shot up more 223 than I did!
