shibiwan Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) Someone offering to trade the madeover beater for a Sig P226 Tac Ops. Good deal? (beater cost sub $700 hehe)... Thoughts? If you don't remember, this is the beater... the trade is only for the rifle - scope is not included. Edited January 16, 2014 by shibiwan
Madhouse Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 That's a pretty beater! But I say go for it. Change is good, just ask the pres.
shibiwan Posted January 16, 2014 Author Report Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) It's pretty because I just gave it a makeover..... Edited January 16, 2014 by shibiwan
Robocop1051 Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 The Sig P226, especially the Tac Ops model, is a beast of a pistol. I'd say you were making out in the trade!

Magwa Posted January 17, 2014 Report Posted January 17, 2014 depends on the cal. of the pistol i would rather have a beater 5.56 than any pistol unless it was 45.acp remember a pistol is only good for fighting your way to your rifle...... P>S nice looking beater :)
Dane Armory Posted January 17, 2014 Report Posted January 17, 2014 That AR looks even better in person !

P>S nice looking beater :) Thanks...it' all in the $6 can of paint. After the makeover, I was getting a lot of gas leakage around the gas block. It ran properly despite the leak, even with my 223 reloads but I don't think it's a keeper. The P226 is 9mm (already have a 9mm Sig 2022) but I'll do the trade and pick up/build another 5.56 later.....or maybe a 300BLK. For now I'll just run to my 308 instead. ...then again I kinda want a 5.56 SBR....maybe a PS90?... decisions decisions.... Edited January 17, 2014 by shibiwan

Robocop1051 Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 SBR! I'm honestly disappointed in all of you that have the ability to own an SBR and/or a suppressor, and you don't take advantage of that opportunity. I can only wish there'll be a day where I have the opportunity to move to a free state, and still get the chance to partake in that.
Rsquared Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 They are fun my man. Just from my perspective though. I'm just glad that my F-ed up state still "allows" them. You're gonna LOVE Laura (the 12" AR-10) when you get to play with her in May (sometime there about).
shibiwan Posted January 22, 2014 Author Report Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) Bah....the douche flaked out..... so much for the trade. I guess the beater becomes the "other truck gun" then. Edited January 22, 2014 by shibiwan
