Those things are gonna make life tough in the big lakes eventually.  God Forbid...

I like the gubments solution:  They spent million to create a bunch of recipes for eating asian carp....lol  No quitters there eh?

I'm wondering when all the gubment recipes for rice will be coming out so we won't mind the Chinese taking over so much...

they won't make it in MI or Supirior they're to cold, but they'll F up Erie in a hurry!!!

I really liked that the homeless shelters and food banks turned down the free carp from net dragging. How exactly do you turn down free food for one of those places?

Or deer

I am actually involved in the carp issue. They will make it to Michigan and Superior. Their native range includes Siberia. They like cold water. The grass carp actually comes from the Amir river between Siberia and China. There are four different kinds of Asian carp. Big Eye or Big Head, Silver, Amir (Grass) and Black. The first two eat algae, Amir eats vegetation, and Black Carp eat mollusks. Right now 85% of the fish in the Illinois River by weight are Asian Carp. This was done in ten years. The only thing that will stop it is an act of mother nature or God. Politics let the window of opportunity to stop them close. I am an avid Great Lakes fisherman and I will probably see the Lakes Change due to this in my lifetime. And I am 65.

Wow.  THIS thread took a turn.  Here we all were talking about our wives and now over to condoms?  Those are for single guys...lol

I saw some years ago that glowed in the dark.  The package said "wrap your knight in shining armor"...  Thought that was pretty good...

LOL. It's no surprise how many of you bring your wifles to the range.

I keep telling my friend he should bring his assault wifle out with us to the range some time. Me? Unfortunately I don't have a wifle. So that means many of you folks are allot better armed then I am.

I shoot with mine.  Well, I take her shooting when I go.  She also shoots without me - because she knows where my ammo stash is, and has the access to the storage.  I'm almost afraid to go to work, because I might come home and have no "ammo reserve" anymore.  She's ridiculous-ness.

AND...  She tries to steal all my parts.  Having her own builds going on isn't enough, I guess...  <dontknow>

very familiar with those. Yeah they have a population of SilverCarp in the Sandusky river over in Ohio.

I used to fish for those as a kid and we would give the catch away because they were toxic ! Lake Erie was BAD, polution was off the charts. I remember the Cuyahoga (sp) River burning in 1969.

It was petroleum byproducts being dumped into the river.
