  1. If they can't vote for the people who promise more free stuff, it wouldn't be a problem for very long. That is why the founders originally restricted voting to those who owned property.
  2. That is supposed to teach you. A citizenship test at the end of high school as a prerequisite for voting would cure most of the country's problems.
  3. As an aside, Caitlin Bennett annoys me for some reason. It may be her pattern of speech or the huuuuge distance between her eyes. I'm not sure exactly what it is.
  4. I see a lot of scary people in my daily job. I like to interact more than just "which is better, 1 or 2?" There are some people to be hopeful for in all age groups. But there are more who are just plain morons and have no business helping to decide who represents us in the government. I know that being born in the US makes someone a citizen, but maybe there should be a test at least once before you are allowed to vote. Yes, I understand that you are supposed to be subject to the laws therein as well. But that is unfortunately not the current interpretation of the 14th amendment.
  5. If you got the 308 carbine buffer spring from heavybuffer.com, it is likely OK. You should have gotten a CAR 10 heavy buffer at the same time, 5.5 oz. But, it could be one or both causing the issue.
  6. What he said!^^^^
  7. It's hard to go wrong with Lake City ammo. Target sports is also good to go.
  8. That looks sweet!
  9. @MikedaddyH will be proud.
  10. What are you wanting to do with the ammo? Target? Hunting? What distance are you planning to shoot? This will determine what ammo may be more suitable for you and your need. The short answer is that 149g ammo should function just fine in your rifle. How accurate it may be can be different with any barrel, even in a similar rifle.
  11. It's the gorilla in the mist you have to worry about. You didn't say anything to be concerned about though.
  12. Welcome to the forum.
  13. @Wes Are you just wanting a better trigger? Do you hunt with your rifle, or mostly target shoot? As I said earlier, Larue makes a great trigger for about a third the price. It comes in one or two stage varieties. It is not drop-in but is very easy to install. If you use it in competition, then I cannot help you. But @98Z5V can likely point you in the right direction.
  14. What caliber is that?
  15. Welcome to the forum. As long as it is designed for an AR, you should not have any problems with it. To recommend a specific trigger, more information is needed. What trigger do you have currently? What are wanting to accomplish? Are you shooting long distance? Hunting? Plinking? All of them? Are you set on Timney? Any particular model? Are you open to suggestions of other brands? I do not have experience with TImney but there some here that can likely share their knowledge and recommendations. A very good trigger upgrade for the money is the the Larue MBT. They are available in 1 stage and 2 stage, straight and curved and only $87. I have several of these.
  16. This sentiment is why we got the new truck for our camper. The FJ is rated to pull it and worked great for a short trip but I could tell that it was not suited for a cross country pull.
  17. Damn, that sucks man. Sorry to hear that.
  18. Did he taste like chicken?
  19. @98Z5V I figure you will find this on your own, bit no sense taking chances.
  20. I have 2 223W rifles. One is a Bear Creek Arsenal 16" carbine. Last fall, Susan was hitting 600 yds with Hornady 73g match ammo.
  21. A nap.💤
  22. They likely consider 308 to be hunting ammo. I doubt if they will carry 7.62x51 though.
