  1. You will have the best birthday party you won't remember.🎉 But we'll have pictures.
  2. I'm just sayin'.
  3. Welcome from Texas. And you should seriously take the offer to meet up with mrraley to build your rifle. Anyone on the board would kill for that offer.
  4. Is July 4 already?
  5. As long as they are not smashed, Tom will be ok with it.
  6. I have a couple of them as well. Absolutely no problems with them. They are good to go.
  7. I would email or call them to find out more specifics. They should know what it should mate up with.
  8. Ditto. I have had one on my LAR8 for 7 years and only did anything to it when I changed scopes. It has been great.
  9. Maybe not funny, but it is sort of cool. It looks kind of like a fall shoot, except for the dresses and towels used as clothing and the total lack of firearm discipline. I do recall some tracers fired at night.
  10. We have the same snakes except we primarily have western diamondbacks with some timber rattlers in the east. I would dispatch of venomous snakes if in close proximity to normal human areas (around the house, yard or barn) but not if I am in its territory and I just see it in passing. I would have gotten rid of that one as well. Did the snake rattle at all? I have heard that many of them have learned not to rattle because of the wild hogs.
  11. So, you went in for a hernia surgery and then had the heart attack when you were waiting to go home?
  12. She did not code, so she did not have bruised/broken ribs. Bruised ribs take about 3-6 weeks to heal. It does take a few weeks or more to start to feel almost normal. She was back at work in a couple of weeks, but she mostly answered phones at that time. Cardiac rehab will be your way to rebuilding your strength and stamina again. It's a slow process, but necessarily so.
  13. Damn, it is good that you are still here. You've had a hell of a couple of months. My wife had one a couple of years ago. She was at work when it happened. She had symptoms most of the morning and called me when her left arm started to go numb. I brought aspirin and blood pressure cuff. I gave her 2 aspirin and her bp was 160/110 iirc. She went to the hospital and had a Cath the next day. She had 2 blockages in the same artery, 80 & 99%. She was blessed and didn't have heart damage and went home after a couple of days.
  14. That's awesome!
  15. Damn that looks great!
  16. If you decide to go ahead with the build, you would help others by letting them know how it works out. That is how everyone learns.
  17. I don't have knowledge of PSA uppers and what they might fit with respect to 80% lowers. The link to Moriarty was inconsistent at best. There is no such thing as a low or high profile lower. That is related to the height of the rail on the upper. The main types of lowers are AR10 (Armalite) and DPMS. I believe that PSA is closer to DPMS but not exact. I am not saying Moriarty Arms is a bad company. I had a great transaction on a 7.62x39 build kit. I would contact hellfire directly to see what they say about compatibility.
  18. Happy father's day to you that reproduced, whether you know it or not.
  19. No kids here but I did get to spend some time with my dad today.
  20. PA10 stripped lower appears to have an integrated trigger guard. The extra part would go on the bottom of a lower like this one.
  21. @98Z5V where's your RX7? It seems to attract these bastards.
  22. That is a nice looking knife. I hope the kid earns it. He must be ok if you are giving it to him though.
  23. Exactly, pantless hugs would be weird.
  24. He does endure the occasional beating, and deservedly so. But he also gets the frequent loving.
  25. I won't do business with them either and I live in the same state and grew up in the same city. They are a non-entity to me.
