  1. I think your the man for the job. Pick one up. Report back on how it goes. You'll be the review you were looking for and can share to help out all the future web searches with that info. I'm sure it's a great piece.
  2. We had an intern here that worked at a range down the street from us as well. He was on duty when a man took his own life in the lane next to my old boss and his 19 year old daughter. He met the daughter in that event, started dating and my old boss sent him our way for a job. They had a policy there that they do not rent to anyone unless there are two people. Shooters who come in alone must bring their own weapon because they've had that happen before. Someone comes in, rents a gun and takes their own life. It's messed up.
  3. I like them. It's all in what you want to do and how you want it to look. I wouldn't put it on all my rifles, but I like it on a couple. It's secure, you're not going to knock it out of place. I think it makes good sense for a gun you might beat around a touch.
  4. That's probably still a little sugar coated.
  5. He's gonna be looking for days now. It's out there. I'm just sayin. BTW...nice rifles GGG
  6. Looks good man. Beautiful.
  7. Crap...you found that thread? I thought we had it pretty well hidden.
  8. I wonder if they make a modified 10 round drum for the restricted states...I mean, we all want to at least look cool. And no, I don't want a ten round drum. There will be folks here looking for them though. It'll look super cool along with the fake can.
  9. Welcome from San Diego. Great looking rifle you wound up with. Nicely done.
  10. Custom stippling.
  11. "The wife" needs a lot of things. He's a very thoughtful man. That turned out really nice, and definitely was a great memory to make with the man.
  12. You mean...6-15/16"? I've seen that number before. That's what it should be. The Armalite buffer you are showing is a rifle length buffer made for a rifle length tube. That is the wrong part for the 7" tube.
  13. She don't need a diet. You just need a sexier and slightly smaller girlfriend to keep on the side. One that cooks, and one that...well...is just a little easier to toss around.
  14. Welcome from San Diego. Glad you're out in the open - hang around a bit more.
  15. The smith working on it did anyways...don't give the gun a bad name over that one. Tha ks for the input guys. A knew a few of you would have them.
  16. Thanks. That's the kind of first hand dealings he is looking for.
  17. You know you're in trouble as soon as the Internet stalking begins...either one of them find this conversation and your in for a really good night, or a REALLY bad one...
  18. I just got a call from a good friend asking if I had one or had shot one. He has a line on a pretty good deal, but he needs some convincing. I've held one at the store, and considered it as an option when I was shopping 6 months ago, but have never shot it. Seems a bit heavy on the front, but maybe that's a good thing. Anyone here have one, or have and good info for a thumbs up or thumbs down on it?
  19. Damn fine plan. I'll be shut up over here in the corner. I have to imagine this is gonna have a bad ass thin blue line paint job, no?
  20. 24 pounds? 3-4 months old. That adds up to what I was thinking. Like Magwa, kudos for the fight...but the injuries and the amount of time he was wrestling with it had me thinking this was the case in the beginning.
  21. You show em who's boss.
  22. Yes he has
  23. You're like the poster child for the ADD Firearms Manufacturer. No more projects until you finish ten of the others.
