bullpoopy. There is no way I could possible run a gun with a giggle switch and not have it on all the time. I can’t even shoot the full auto BB gun without having that on. 25 BB’s are gone way too fast.

Good to know. I’m on the 30 day trial of Audible right now. A friend working for one of the defense companies here in SD recommended “The Kill Chain” and I have that one playing at the moment. It’s ok. Written by a staffer from McCain’s team, so that tells a little about where it’s at.

No desire for full auto until I win the lotto. Then I’m interested. I can’t afford to shoot nearly as often as I would like to as it is…lighting stacks of cash on fire doesn’t sound appealing at the current financial state I’m in.

Random question…don’t we have a thread running somewhere with good books to read? I did a quick search, but we tell people to read a lot…. I downloaded the Audible app and have been listening to some books. I spend close to 2 hours a day in the car, so this has been helping to not listen to the same songs over and over or the same talking heads on the AM dial.

Try to keep the upper and the lower from the same company. If you go PSA, you may need to do a little work to get it reliable, or you might get lucky. There’s been a few that run right out of the box. Buy a legitimate Armalite buffer tube, spring and buffer as a kit if you can and that will function without question. There are other options, but that one has been proven here over and over again. Start a build thread and list up your parts before you order…you might get some feedback that way and it will be a little more specific to your plans. Cheap is a relative term. If you go on the absolute lowest dollar end of things, you might have to do a little extra work, but it’s all doable.

Banning guns won’t stop anything…just like no law on any book in the world has stopped a crime. I’d like to see an example if I’m wrong. What law was passed, that completely ended a crime?

Oh, I use a knife plenty. The slicer is so nice to have though. Be able to shave bigger roasts into nice thin sand which meat.

I’m still pissed about my spot for my slicer. Wife changed my design for the kitchen and I lost the 24” of countertop where my future slicer purchase was supposed to go.

We had similar around our office before. It’s pretty easy to inadvertently “tip toe” over the line. It’s also pretty easy to get caught knowingly working the wrong side of the fence.

That’s a crazy morning. Sounds like a flaw in the perimeter of you had upper ground on the LE, and enough advanced notice to get into that position. Looks like the glass did its job, but I bet that was a bit of a surprise. Looks like a couple of well placed shots had they gone through. Glad it’s just dead bad guys, a shame it has to come to that though.
