  1. I need a damn 338 before the next civil war starts...clock is a tickin!
  2. Measuring at an angle again? Haven’t we been over this already?!
  3. Same with Hurt. Who covered who?! pretty bad when someone else does your song and all of the sudden it sounds like you were covering theirs.
  4. Do not spar wire the man...he sounds serious So...no EDGE time? That’s a bunch of BS. You better be cranking the OT and banking some gun money at least.
  5. Sure as hell ain’t NormalZ normal.
  6. He mentioned in another thread the 3/32 wouldn’t fit. I guessed that it was going to be a small hole and mentioned you guys might call for an upsizing. I couldn’t remember the numbers you have locked down, but figured one of you gurus would chime in with that.
  7. Numbered drill bits are really the easiest way to measure. Some of these guys have that part down to a science and will recommend the right sized port. If 3/32 didn’t fit, I’m guessing they’ll suggest upsizing that port.
  8. This has been fired right? The gas port is smaller than the hole in the gas block and that’s the carbon and BS buildup between the two.

    So.....like camping?
  10. At the risk or derailing the photo thread....again...I’m gonna ask AOC for her opinion. What I think is you’re making a statement about climate with that question. Define normal. Are you basing that question over what’s been normal during our existence on this rock? It’s not a fart in the wind to the time this thing has been around. Normal - the new normal? The old normal? Normal normal? yes.

I like the look of that can cooker. Gotta look into that.
  12. What more are you looking for info-wise on the barrel nut? When putting it on, it didn’t line up for the tube. He threw additional weight at it to to get it to align and snapped his barrel nut wrench. The. Went to plan B and sacrificed it during removal. He’ll have to chime in so you can be sure, but from the sound of the posts, no - he has not fired it - manual operation only. I’m curious where you’re going, because I know you have something specific you’re looking at with this...what is it you want to know about the barrel nut?
  13. That’ll buff out...I think it can be salvaged.

That was a good show. Watched it a couple weekends back.
  15. You needed all the excuses you could get to justify buying one. Blame the rule....we’re here for you.
  16. Gotta call them. Their website doesn’t track stock unfortunately. Pretty helpful guys usually though.
  17. 600 is getting off easy. I had more than that into the slide. parts kits no, but you’ll have to shop individual pieces. I went by glockstore...it’s a long walk from my office. I could hit their front door with a rock thrown from my off hand. They had no kits months ago. Enough parts to put everything together though. They aren’t the cheapest, but worth a call.
  18. The one that says “when you ask, does anyone have any experience with xxxxxx...” You have 48 hours for someone to chime in about it, or you get to be the first one by buying it and reporting back. Around here it’s just referred to as “The Rule”. That one doesn’t have a number like 65b.
  19. Looking forward to the finished product. Sounds like a sweet little rig.
  20. There’s lots of parts for that market still. Adjustable bolt catch, adjustable dust covers. I hear CROM is working on an adjustable bolt. You’ll never have a problem with head spacing again. Just twist til it’s right and tighten down this tiny pot metal set screw. Walla. Everyone’s worst nightmare- solved. Until it slips and becomes everyone’s worst nightmare.
  21. Looks like the clock is ticking on The Rule. You’ll likely get to try this out and tell us all about it. Odin makes some interesting things...I’m sure this gadget Will be OK.
  22. By hand or when actually firing? You said it was good before you changed the hand guard? What gaurd did you install and what was your procedure?
  23. Yes.
