  1. Well folks, our pc is on the blitz. We have about 5 minutes online before it siezes. The shop is crammed full until after New Years, so if I'm offline, you know why. I can still answer that email on my phone for that Brownell's certificate though! <thumbsup> Thanks for all your support! Jon
  2. Get one of the new cool ones with the wire cutter punched into the blade. <thumbsup> If you miss, slash their neck on the run, shoot the next bastard. <thumbsup> Jon
  3. Just guessing here but via RICO is one way. All an agency has to do is allege that your property was used in a crime or that cash money is the proceeds of crime, and they can sieze it. X-percentage of cash goes directly into the police budget. Possessions like real estate can be owned by the agency or sold for proceeds. Jon
  4. Yeah, a bayonet...it has a lug, use it! On an M14 forum the consensus was if you had a flash hider w/o the bayo lug, you owned a neutered rifle. <lmao> I want to put one on my 930SPX. Jon
  5. Nice unforgiven! Just one little problem. Where's the bayonet? <dontknow> Jon
  6. That looks sharp unforgiven! I'm torn between a mid-length upper or a bigger scope. Jon
  7. Powder coating is plenty durable. It is how they color sandrails out here in the desert. Jon
  8. Yup...it was LA County Sherrif's that raided a home in the next county, killed the home owner, then siezed the home under RICO. Having worked corrections, I know it is 3 or 4 percent of the officers that make it hard for the other 96 or 97%...big chips on their shoulders, can't do their job right, instigate crap between officers/inmates or officers/public or officers/administration. The majority of the rest are doing their job and real nice folks. Jon
  9. Welcome Seakrakken! I too run RRA in the .308 platform. I'm a happy customer so far! Jon
  10. Howdy Rsquared! Glad to meet you! Jon

    Hiya

Ideas? I don't got no ideas. Especially about getting a Freedom Machine Junior to go with my Standard Operator. And I definately don't have any ideas about a SIG 716 Preceision Marksman. Jon

    Hiya

Greetings Griz! Welcome from AZ! Jon
  13. Yup, Ma Deuce, Cali definately has been flexing their authoritarian muscles lately, and feds in that state too. SWAT raids on natural food stores for selling unhomogonized, unpastuerized milk? They should be hanging public officials. Jon
  14. Cool rig! Welcome! Jon
  15. <thumbsup> <thumbsup> <thumbsup> Those are some of the best memories! Cherish every minute. My wife and I were both present for our daughter's first steps. Jon
  16. Howdy and welcome natedog! With that scope and the work you're looking to do, check out the fixed stocks...maybe a Magpul PRS. I'd start shopping bipods too. While the Freedom Machine is currently wearing a Warne Tactical, the GGG is calling me...it's made locally too. Jon
  17. There are folks that are already refusing to purchase any product made by a Freedom Group/Cerberus corporation. If we gun owners could form a sort of union, it may prevent these investment companies from ventures into guns/shooting accessories. Colt/S&W suffered the same fate in the past couple of decades. If as soon as they purchased said company, their sales plummeted to ZERO, they would soon leave the gun business alone. Jon
  18. Blue prayer sent for you! Let me know if there is something I can help with. Jon
  19. My wife's Mom died a couple of years after we married. Her Dad got remarried a few years later. His wife has always been into holiday baking, so they are now having an annual Christmas Cookie Bake Day. Shortbread cookies with heavily dyed butter creme frosting. I'd post a picture but they don't last long. We didn't do it this year but my family (since I was a kid) has a tradition of croissants served hot, with coffee or cocoa, with butter and orange marmalade (the sweet kind) for the bread. No fuss, no muss. Jon
  20. What limp case is that? I took a look at those Voodoo molle shotgun scabbards. I don't believe that the 930SPX will fit, with the front sight. It doesn't fit in a standard shotgun case. Jon
  21. Oh I'm always safe. No need to mess around with a gun blowing up in my face. The most important thing to remember after doing work on your gun is this seven-word safety phrase: "Would you like to shoot my gun?" 98, you're still coming to Tucson this week, right? Jon
  22. Excellent 392HN!! Make sure to take them to the range! Jon
  23. Correct, sir. It looks like I can get that plate out after removing the recoil spring and guide. The plate has a hole through the middle of it the spring and rod go through. May do that tomorrow. Jon
  24. Aawwww man! Made the mistake of looking at revolver grips on that site! Now I'll have to get some fresh wood to hang onto... Jon
  25. Alright, went to the range to play RSO and had some time to unload some light loads. On the second magazine of 8, couldn't pull the trigger. Did a check, the safety was off. Tried the trigger and got a click. Ejected the live round in the chamber, cycled the safety on then off, then it went bang. Got home and pulled it apart for cleaning and it looks like the plate under the safety which blocks the trigger from moving, when the safety is engaged, is binding a bit. When I have some more time next week, I'll pull that part and ensure it is deburred, polish it up a bit. Anyone else experience something similar? Jon
