  1. Loves me some two tone guns! <thumbsup>
  2. Well, every time I bring up Harleys around my son-in-law my daughter gives me the look! You know, THE LOOK! My first wife hated motorcycles (probably one reason we went our separate ways) and I believe some of that rubbed off on my daughter. <dontknow>
  3. Thanks Dawn, he is a good kid and he has a couple of good parents for role models too.
  4. Yup, Shibi nailed it on the fees. <thumbsup>
  5. I do it the same way as Micro, never keep funds in the PP acct. The only time any money sits in there is when I transfer funds from my son's credit union account to make his motorcycle payment. He's in Okinawa so it's easier for me to transfer the funds and make the payment and it's actually cheaper to transfer the funds to PP ($1)than it is to transfer them to my bank account ($2)!
  6. Yeah yeah yeah, blame it on Dawn Marie! He was actually just intimidated by everything! He had never shot a gun before! I'll let his dad spend some time with him with the .22 then get him to shooting an AR-15. My daughter is gonna disown me! I've got the son-in-law talking about AR's and Harleys! <lmao>
  7. I used Unique for years, but switched over to W231 for USPSA competition and I've been using that since then. Everything I load in 45 is with a 200 Gr. semiwadcutter.
  8. That first round looks like the bolt may not have been seated all the way. How many rounds have been put through the gun since it was built? Are you running the BCG well oiled?
  9. Yup, that's what I got when I voted. Maybe we broke it! <lmao>
  10. Tom, you look like a kid in a candy store in those pics! <laughs>
  11. HAHA! I've been known to cook a few things when the wife was at work myself.
  12. Yup, spoil them and send them home! Tom did that to MY grandson! The kid loved shooting Tom's 10/22 so much that I gave him my Glenfield Mod. 60 .22 rifle for Christmas along with a 325 ct. box of ammo. I told his dad when that was gone he was going to have to deal with finding more for the grandson to shoot! :auto: <laughs>
  13. Very nice! <thumbsup>
  14. 986! How many of you guys are sitting on your thumbs waiting for 999 to come up before you vote? Be honest! <lmao>
  15. I looked real hard at those, but I came across a killer deal for a pair of Smith Enterprises Good Iron muzzle brakes over at arfcom, one for 223 and one for 308. The Amazon brakes look very similar to a couple of others out there, only cheaper. I can't see why they would work any different. You can also find those brakes over at gunbroker.com with the same kind of pricing.
  16. No, I didn't even think about it! Looking back I wish I would have weighed it before and after the work.
  17. Dayum! :ugone2far: ;D
  18. That's because nobody gets angry here! WORD! <thumbsup>
  19. That's why I carry a Colt Anaconda out in the wild!
  20. I've used the pulldowns from Wideners and had good luck with them too. <thumbsup>
  21. I had the heavy 18" barrel in my DPMS LR308 and had it turned down to .750 in front of the gas block. I didn't do anything behind the gas block though. At the same time I had my machinist buddy cut and thread the muzzle so I could put a brake on it. I re-parkerized it and put the gun back together, and as far as I can tell it hasn't affected the accuracy at all and it's not near as muzzle heavy. I'm very happy with the outcome.
  22. Yup, you'll probably get a 'warning'! <lmao>
  23. I had a friend back in high school who drowned doing exactly what that idiot did!
  24. Magpul MIAD on my competition AR-15 and MOE's on everything else. Yeah, I'm a Magpul whore! :hail: <lmao>
  25. 890!
