Hey Tom :fawkdance: <laughs>
-
I've bought 6 or 7 of these in the last couple of years; http://www.gunshack.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=38&product_id=315 I keep one in each vehicle and a couple around the house. I also gave one to Josh and one to his buddy to carry when they were working at the county detention center. I have not found a better flashlite at twice the price! I bought one of these with the remote switch to mount on one of my AR's; http://www.gunshack.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=38&product_id=289 At a recent night shoot we were engaging targets out about 75 yards and that light was lighting the targets up better than my buddy's $200 Surefire! He said he had just put new batteries in his. <dontknow>

I use one of those for 5.56 and love it!

Greenmist, YOU are oversimplifying this! As I stated earlier, I won't make any statement based on this video because it's a very small part of the whole incident. I learned a long time ago not to be baited by people like you that try to back LEO's in a corner by using a video like this that doesn't even come close to representing all the dynamics of the situation. I don't know what purpose you're trying to accomplish here, but I agree that it's probably best to just lock this thread.

Wrong! The number is 21 since 2010. I'm not going to make any kind of statement as to whether the shooting was good or bad since I wasn't there and don't have all the facts. This video is a very small piece of what happened there and this situation had been playing out for 5 hours! Also, this subject's background was very well known by the officers and I'm sure a lot of it hasn't been made public but the man has priors for assault on a peace officer and on citizens. Oh, and Libertarian, he was tasered two times with no effect before this portion of the video. This is what I meant when I said this video is only a small portion of the scenario that took place! Are you a LEO Libertarian? I wonder how you have witnessed "50 or so encounters". Tasers do fail and it is well documented. A friend of mine that went through taser training had a video of him being tasered in the class and he still reached down and picked up a rubber training pistol and pointed it at the instructor! Also, since you live in Michigan how would you even know what kind of "MF"ing use of force policies might be in place in New Mexico? If you are a cop I pity the officers that have to work along side of you! Disclaimer; I have never worked for Albuquerque P.D. and do not even know anyone who does. I live over 200 miles from Albuquerque and have no connection to that department. I'm just calling things as I see them.

I quit 29 years ago when I started dating my wife, who is asthmatic. I was smoking 2 packs a day, and used the Nicorette gum to quit. You had to have a prescription for the stuff back then. When I started chewing the gum I never lit up another cigarette. Quitting probably saved my life! I had a bad motorcycle accident in '06 and was in a trauma hospital in El Paso for 8 days with a punctured lung, broken shoulder blade and a WHOLE bunch of broken ribs! My heart rate was at 175 for well over 12 hours after the crash. My wife, who is an R.N. said if I had still been smoking like I was when we met I probably wouldn't have survived that crash! A surgeon friend of ours said the same thing after looking at my x-rays from the crash. My jaw literally ached from chewing that gum when I quit, and to this day I DO NOT chew gum!

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that mine imagines she told me something and truly believes she did! No, really, I'm serious! Oh, and she won't catch me typing this because she's at work and loaned her car out to the grandson so I have to pick her up. Oh shiit, she just called for a ride. Gotta go!

LOL! You think that 5.7 Hemi is pretty stout in that truck, you should see how it is in a 3500 lb. muscle car!

I don't know about lesbian bars being hot. Most lesbians I've seen are butt ugly! Here's a little ditty I saw on a bathroom wall back in my high school days that always stayed with me; Here's to Hitler, the son-of-a-bitch May his balls be plastered with the seven year itch and may his a$$hole be twisted in such a manner when he farts it whistles the Star Spangled Banner! :hethan: <lmao>

I used to have a Uberti 45 Colt SAA, that was a nice gun. I think you'll be very pleased with that gun! <thumbsup> -
Well, nice to know I'm not the only one around here that has had a Kimber appropriated by a family member! <lmao>

I've got one of those on my DPMS 308. We were shooting it at the Casa Grande range Tuesday (covered firing line) and after a while we were the only ones left! :ugone2far: <dontknow> <lmao> -

A friend of mine had an AR-180 made by Sterling for a long time, until his stepson stole it. The statement in the article that AR-15 mags won't work in the rifle is not true, they just need a slight modification to work. If you look at the bottom photo in the article you can see a slot in the right side of the magazines that isn't present on the AR-15 mags. That is the only difference, it's where the AR-180 mag catch engages. My friend had a small aluminum jig that he layed on the AR-15 mags and used a Dremel tool to cut that slot in the AR-15 mags. Most of the mags he had for his AR-180 were modified AR-15 mags.

Now THAT is a story with a happy ending! <thumbsup> -
Local Elks had a fantastic corned beef and cabbage dinner last Friday night. The wife and I went and ate and since my wife has had bariatric surgery she can't eat that much so I got half of her corned beef! An old guy at the table next to us told his wife "If I wasn't so damn full I'd eat some more!" That pretty much summed up how I felt too! <lmao>

That's just the start, the rifle brass all needs to be resized, trimmed and tumbled again! I suspect it will sit until I need to reload it before any of that gets done.
-
Cleaned all this stuff over the last week or so, 1800 rnds of 7.62 brass and Lord knows how much .223 brass! Maybe 5K? Some of the 223 will be used to make 300 BLK brass.

That was cool! <thumbsup>

Warranties aside, I've shot quite a bit of steel cased ammo in my LR308B with no problems whatsoever.

I've carried a 1911 in one form or another for over 30 years, ALWAYS condition 1. That's the way John Moses Browning designed the gun to be carried and that's the way I by God carry it! <thumbsup>
