  3. I wouldn't hold your breath on a response, that post is almost 6 months old and the poster has only made 2 posts on this forum. I would be willing to bet he hasn't checked for responses for a while.
  4. From the looks of those pics I have to say that guy is good! Listen to him and learn. I wish I had someone with that kind of talent to mentor me.
  5. Be an INTERNET SHOPPING WARRIOR! :auto:
  6. Hey Dawn Marie, welcome to the madhouse......er, Forum! <thumbsup> <lmao>
  7. Have any of you guys read Shadow of the Sword by Jeremiah Workman? I've always had the utmost respect for our service men and women but this book ramped it up another notch, if that was even possible! My son Josh started reading a borrowed copy and then had to return it to his buddy before he could finish it, so he asked me to buy him a copy and ship it to him in Okinawa. He also requested I get it in hardbound because he wanted to keep it. Now, Josh has always struggled with reading and took 4 years of Honors Language Arts in high school to try and better himself because of it. He has never been able to get 'into' a book so when he made the request I followed through, but had to read it myself to find out what it was that had such a profound effect on him. Jeremiah Workman and co-author John Bruning nailed it describing what Workman went through in Fallujah and the fallout he experienced afterwards. I knew PTSD was a bad thing but this book puts it into a context that just breaks my heart over what these people are dealing with. I have to admit, parts of this book brought tears to my eyes!
  8. Fcuk Sean Penn AND Charlize Theron!
  9. Great looking guns and nice pics! <thumbsup> Maybe a little 'fill' flash next time to bring out the details! <dontknow>
  10. SCHOOLED! Attaboy Marcus! <thumbsup>
  11. Yup! Got it this morning! <thumbsup>
  12. Dillon blue and lawn chair green! <lmao>
  13. Remind me next time we plan a get together and I'll bring mine. It would be good to shoot it again. I just had it out of the safe a couple of days ago.
  14. The 3 Gunners go with lighter BCG's and buffers and use an adjustable gas block to tune the rifle and reduce recoil. It seems to work for them.
  15. I don't know if they are worth anything, but I have a JC Higgins 20 ga. bolt action shotgun. It belonged to my grandfather and my uncle gave it to me after granddad passed away. I've hunted doves with that gun and it's actually a pretty good shooting gun!
  16. Hey, he said he shot that thing in Washington right? What if he actually shot Mick Dodge? http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/the-legend-of-mick-dodge/
  17. :fawkdance: <lmao>
  18. I dunno Tom, it kinda looses something in slo-mo!
  19. Be safe Devil Dog! Hope to see you back here safe and sound when your 'trip' is over. OORAH!
  20. Be safe! <thumbsup>
  21. I had a 392 in my 70 Cuda but when my son was driving it in high school he griped because it didn't have power steering (that 392 was too wide for the bigger P/S box). I pulled it out and ended up selling it to a buddy of mine who is building an early 30's Dodge sedan hotrod. I put a 5.7 hemi in the car and have no regrets, it handles much better with the 200 lb. lighter engine and has just as much (if not more) power than the 392!
  22. I don't think this will last long! http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=188054
  23. Pics or it doesn't exist!
  24. Damn, you're right! It still meters better than any IMR powder through my Dillon powder measure.
  25. I don't think the preppers stockpile it for shooting near as much as for trading! There's a mentality amongst a lot of preppers that .22 ammo will be better than gold after the apocalypse!
