That's some really scitty news! I've been there and done that, had my 'big one' back in 2006 and it came close to killing me. Didn't hardly hurt the bike though, I'm still riding it. High siding a Harley Ultra Classic is NOT fun! Tell the ol' man to get healed up and you guys come out to the next fall shoot so we can swap stories! You and my wife would get along great!

Matrix upper, lower, handguard and lower build kit, Magpul MOE fixed Carbine stock & K2 grip, Toolcraft BCG, Larue MBT trigger, Armalite buffer tube setup and Bushnell 3x12 scope. 98Z5V did a burnt bronze Cerakote job on it for me. I haven't had much trigger time with it yet but the 100 yard groups I was getting off of a crappy azzed rest were pretty good. I am trying to find some time to get back out to the range with the bipod on it and really wring it out.

I have the Faxon 16" 308 pencil barrel. It's shaping up to be a damn good barrel.

Don't take what 98Z5V posted personal, he has valid and very important points. The two platforms do have interchangeability issues and not using the correct terminology can really cause consumers some grief. 98, along with most members here will correct anyone using 'AR-10' as a general callout for these rifles because of the problems it can cause. We have several members here who are very well versed on these rifles and can probably solve just about any problem you run into, and 98 is one of the most knowledgeable people on the site for this platform.

I'm doing a pistol build on a set of Diamondback receivers and the Sig 12.5" barrel. I like the receiver set and they are almost Identical to my Matrix upper and lower. My Matrix build has been fantastic and I don't foresee the Diamondback build being anything less.

My DPMS is 18" because that's what my wife and son bought me for my birthday. My Matrix build is a lightweight 16" because I wanted a lighter weight gun for hunting.

That pretty much sums it up right there, I feel honored to be able to spend time with everyone who makes it! Mayra is definitely looking forward to coming back. She apologized to me all the way back to Tucson for feeling so crappy and not staying longer. Just so you all know, it was my decision to head back early, she never once said anything about wanting to leave but when she wasn't getting up and grabbing something to pull the trigger on I knew she was really miserable. She kept telling me I should have stayed longer but I gotta take care of that woman, she's irreplaceable!

Well, there are certainly people on here who are capable of getting the best performance out of the ammo!

Tom, there will definitely be some pics posted of the AR and the SV Infinity as soon as I can get Mayra to take some with her phone and send them to me (my phone has a crap camera). My oldest came in from Alaska yesterday and will be here for most of the week so it may take a few days. For everyone else, Tom isn't blowing his own horn, this Cerakote job on the AR is badazzed! The pistol is pretty impressive too, but the camo job on the AR just blew me away!
