Bianchi B9 belt, been wearing one for over 25 years! I still have my original one. It's kind of tight on me now but I'm almost back down to where I can wear it again. These belts seem to last forever!

LOL! That reminded me of an incident here years ago. We had a lowlife piece of trash biker here that was staying with a bunch of devil worshippers. He was on his way to the house from that bar with a couple of them following him in a pickup He crashed his Sportster and these dumbazzes stopped and threw him in the back of their truck and took him to the hospital. He ended up paralyzed from the neck down. If you go down, make sure devil worshippers aren't your first responders!!!

Army Getting New Sub Gun
392heminut replied to jtallen83's topic in Firearm Industry News and Gossip
Had a guy ask me about a new 1911 that recently came out. I've read the reviews and all but I had to tell him that I couldn't say how good it was since I've never had one in my hands. If I haven't handled a gun how the hell can I say how good it is? Just sayin! -
Is it just me or does this guy look like Rob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen a couple of 6 foot Diamondbacks around here, my first wife's dad killed one back years ago. We call them coon tail rattlers here because of the black and white striped tails. I killed one that was over 4 feet long back years ago, it almost got my son Josh when he was only about 3 years old. That diamondback got taken out with an Anaconda..........loaded with 44 Mag shotshells.😝

Caught this comment over at Police One and felt like sharing it. I gotta love a company that supports my brothers and sisters in blue like this! "After the Dallas PD officers were shot, my dear mother called me with questions about how the officers could have been killed if they were wearing vests. I explained to her about soft body armor and how it won't stop rifle rounds. She asked if my department provides us with anything that will stop rifle rounds, to which I related they do not. So without asking me, she went online to Spartan Armor Systems and ordered a full front, sides, back, AR500 steel plate and carrier setup. After she paid and put in the order, her receipt showed they were already backordered. At this time, my mother called the company and told them what I did and that she was really worried about me. They told her "don't worry, ma'am", and they express shipped the better AR600 steel armor right to me. If any of you are looking for steel plate armor, use Spartan Armor Systems. I can't vouch for them enough. "

Duluth killed any chance of getting ANY of my business. Not saying there stuff isn't good, I don't have any experience to base something like that on. There business practices suck though. I went on their site to order some pants and they were on sale, nice! NOT! Every time I put them in the shopping cart they went back to full price ($25 a pair more). So, I called customer service and the lady told me that only the black ones were on sale (nothing about any colors in the promotion) and of course, the black ones were out of stock. No offer to sell me another color at the sale price either. I politely thanked the lady and told her that Duluth Trading company didn't have anything I was interested in spending my money on. Yeah, I have a stubborn streak but that kind of schit just doesn't fly with me so fukk Duluth! I had a similar experience with Best Buy about 12 years ago and told them I would never darken there doorway again. My wife will attest to me keeping that promise! I would rather pay twice as much for something than buy it from Best Buy.

The only 10 rounders I own are for my 1911 and those are considered hicap!😳

It's Cajun dammit! It's supposed to look like that!

Yeah, I've shot both of those guns! Tom is spot on right there! There used to be a picture around here somewhere of the bruise that fukkin 458 of Roman's left on me after TWO shots! But yeah, I'd shoot that MF'er again!

I have a set of the straight bits. I no longer have that case though, the Chapman stuff was assimilated into the rest of the bits and drivers in my gunsmith tool chest. Chapman is good stuff!

I'm not sure that I can do that either brother! Remember, I was shooting 40 S&W, lighter, faster boolits there!

Well this buffer and the orange spring made quite a difference! The gun still flings the brass back about 20-30 feet between 4 and 5 o'clock but the recoils is noticeably less and absolutely no malfunctions with the 30 rnd ETS mags. I figured the feed malfunction was the bolt just plain running too fast and this bears that out. The ammo I've been shooting has been the factory 155 grn. Border Patrol issue hollowpoints and that stuff is hot! I need to get some of my reloads put together to see how they function. The reloads I have right now are for competition and are loaded a bit longer for my 2011 so they won't fit in a regular 40 S&W mag. I'm guessing this gun will be sweet shooting with my 175 grn. TC loads.

The ONLY reason you would need a 22# recoil spring in a 45 ACP 1911 is if you're running hot handloads like the bowling pin shooters do! I've never ran anything heavier than an 18# spring and have often ran 16# springs. I run 12# or 14# springs in my 40 S&W 1911 and STI 2011 in 40 S&W. Also, Albroswift is correct, smoke and soot are good indicators of low pressure rounds.

Typical cop mentality!

You and me both! Friggin midwest weather!

That didn't last long! The above link now takes you to the 60 rnd. AR-15 drum and the 50 rnd. 308 drum is now $129.95!

That right there! I would bet a Benjamin that IF he is even convicted he will receive probation. I'm actually wondering if this isn't a ploy to go after his retirement? I think the man is a POS coward and deserves anything he gets but if he does get convicted it will be the start down a slippery slope for law enforcement in this country. The courts decided some time back that law enforcement had no obligation to protect any one individual unless they were in police custody. If Peterson is convicted of these charges and the convictions aren't overturned by a higher court (which I'm pretty sure they would be) then that would leave every LEO in this country open to criminal charges if inaction (for whatever reason) on their part resulted in the death of someone. I want to see Scot Peterson get his just deserts, but not at the expense of my brothers and sisters out on the streets!

NcSTAR Universal Pistol Rear Sight Tool

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago when I caught the tail end of a $29.95 sale and by the time it came in the sale was over. I didn't want to post it without having a chance to assess it first since it IS an NcSTAR product, but this tool is VERY well made! It's worth the new sale price of $35.50 if you mess with pistols with fixed sights much. For the last 30+ years I've been pistolsmithing I've always used the hammer and brass drift method of sight adjustment, which is not the most accurate way of getting the job done! I can take this to the range and dial in a fixed sight pistol easily. Great price for a tool of this caliber! @98Z5V Tom, you can probably appreciate what this thing does. https://www.dvor.com/ncstar-universal-pistol-rear-sight-tool.html

Exactly what I thought. One of the reviews said the upper was threaded for the DPMS barrel nut. Some of the Matrix uppers were threaded that way too.
