Happy birthday!

Doesn't matter how cheap they sell things, they took advantage of their customers in an extreme way during the sandy hook scare and will never see one dime of my money. I will also continue to remind people of this everytime I see there name come up. Here is a link to UTG rails from a reputable dealer; http://www.primaryarms.com/Brand+Leapers--SLASH--UTG/MCategories+AR-15-Rails--AND--Handguards

Sure hope you can find that handguard somewhere else besides those gougers at CTD..........

Looks like a dead ringer for the Rough Justice trigger that mech Armor was selling.

Too bad, I bought my nephew a plinker model and it has been flawless for him. Never heard much about their 308 line, maybe some cheap parts will hit the market.

Wonder if a different style of crimping die would behave the same?

We did a few days at the range like that. Never counted the rounds but my fingers were raw from loading magazines and that was with 10 round stripper clips. The powder residue would get in my eyes from the sweat and burn like CS. Some days you would throw grenades till they were barely clearing the pit. Those bastards found ways to make even the most enjoyable part of training physically miserable.

They didn't include the new length in the pictures. I doubt gas tube fires would be an issue unless you are running full auto. I've been thinking about a 300BO build with a 14.5 inch barrel and FH pinned to legal length. Ran across this system as an answer to reliability with both subs and supers but odds are I will just stick with an adjustable block since getting it wrong would be such a hassle, given my track record with correct gas port sizes I'm skeptical of every claim I read!

Throw up some pictures in the for sale section and give us a price

Looks like I better get the old rock chucker set up with an O-ring.

Just ran across this on the new Black Hole Weaponry site, Columbia River Arms now. They say this new gas system length is between pistol and carbine, like things were not confusing enough. They only make it for the 300 BO and 7.62x39; http://columbiariverarms.com/gas-systems/

Both FDE translucent, new one has already been traded for a P-mag. The remaining one pictured here that I trimmed the top edge of the follower guide on to get the catch to pass is supposed to go back. Lancer sent a return label for it but since they sent the same thing as a replacement not sure if I'll bother sending it back to them or not.

Dimple the barrel so it has to line up, SLR sells jigs pretty cheap; http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=57_129 Once you have a jig you can loan it out to us

Yes, I have a couple and they function fine in both the Matrix and my Sig 716. Appreciate the offer though!

Strike Industries VIPER MOD-01 Butt Stock FDE

Sold, lock it up! -
Nope, I think I'm going to call it a loss and just use what works. I love the Lancer design but that little extra slop in the 10's adds enough to the tolerance stacking to take them out of the mix for me. They 20 rounder works fine so I'll keep it in and just stick with magpuls that work in both rifles, already have two separate mag types with my AR-10B in the rotation so I don't want three separate mags to keep track of.

Too small a butt pad for my wifes liking so I replaced it with a magpul CTR. The fit is a bit loose on my mil-spec tube, SI customer service told me it was made to fit both both mil-spec and commercial tubes, I don't have a commercial tube to confirm that. They sell rubber butt pads that screw on but didn't when I bought it so I placed some black grip tape on the butt. $25 shipped in CONUS, paypal gift or money order for payment options. http://www.strikeindustries.com/shop/index.php/products/rifle-accessories/viper-mod-1-stock.html

The new 10 rounder was waiting for me when I got home but the follower is just a hair smaller than the other 10 rounder, no functioning in my Matrix build. The 20 round follower in the 10 round body still has a bit too much slop to function every time, better but not good enough. I'm not sure if Lancer intentionally made these with more slop to handle debris but the extra follower tilt takes these 10 rounders out of the mix for my matrix. I've hit a dead end trying to get a Ruger bolt catch to try so I may have to swap these for magpuls and have something that functions in both my rifles.

I will defend anyone's right to burn the flag. I would never do it myself but as long as they are not harming another citizen let them do what they want. I also believe we have the right to shun that person, including not allowing him in any private facility, no groceries for you dickhead! If we allow the government to ban any form of protest then we open the door to banning all protest. The idea that government should intervene when someone hurts our feelings is a libtard concept. I would also add that flag burning like terrorism is meant to cause a reaction, if we do not react then there action becomes pointless and they lose.

My AR-10 is a good all around rifle, gets some nice groups with NATO M80 ball stuff. I bought a big lot of Fiocchi 175 match with the same SMK when I got the rifle but they don't shoot as good as the FGMM 175's They are as good or better than FGMM 168's, puzzled me some but what do I know. Had some Freedom Munitions that were very accurate for me, next lot of them was pure crap, the bullet is only a small part of the accuracy equation it appears.

Both my 1-10 and 1-11.25 seem to shoot better with them, might just be psychological bias on my part though
