  1. Check back at d. wilson, doubt he will be out of stock long; http://www.dwilsonmfg.com/store/p24/308_Bolt_Carrier_Field_Repair_kits.html Curious, how old a rifle is it?
  2. I try to rotate stuff out every year if it has been in the weather, I really should try to get closer to Edges routine. Stuff that sits in mags at the bedside might go 3-4 years before I get around to rotating it out. My Dad had some mags sitting loaded for 20+ years after he retired from LE, when he did shoot them function was flawless.
  3. What is to come when Rob hooks up with Jacob in Vegas......
  4. My tinnitus started on the 50 cal range. We were neck and neck with another pair to be top shots in the brigade and I couldn't hear my spotter. Took out my right plug to hear him better and my ear has been ringing every since. We did win though!
  5. Tell that to the ringing in my ear!
  6. I bet there was a slight wobble!
  7. Give you $600 for it? You bought an excellent rifle for a great price, they sell from $800-$1100 all day long on the used market.
  8. Motorboating for breast cancer awareness, why didn't I think of this!
  9. Welcome from Iowa, via Pensacola! Tell us more about that AR-10B, I bought mine in 2011 and it has been flawless for several thousand rounds. Is it brand new or an older one. The recent change of management has caused us Armalite fanboys to be a little more curious about what is coming out.
  10. Brother you have to fix that. For pure shooting pleasure you can't beat a well tuned 1911!
  11. Ok....gas blocks, adjustable; http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=57_103_168_105 Not adjustable "micro"; http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=57_103_65&product_id=601 from forum sponsors; http://ballisticadvantage.com/936-lo-pro-gas-block.html http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/gas-system-parts/gas-blocks/ar-15-gas-block-low-profile-prod27015.aspx
  12. Found it;
  13. He asked about a barrel as well...........X-Caliber will build one just how you want it, except the gas port size! http://x-caliber.net.revlis.arvixevps.com/ar-10 I ordered a rifle length gas 16 inch barrel from them and had to drill out the gas port to make it work.
  14. By looking at my Matrix receiver set you would say it is an Armalite but they do not interchange with my AR-10 in any way. The only way to be POSITIVE of a fit is to buy a set from the same manufacturer.

I'm not there....but then sometimes I wonder if I'm here........... Wouldn't a bidet be cheaper?
  16. Much appreciate the favor Doc!
  17. No chance, there are so many libtards imbeded in our government it will take generations to change their culture.
  18. Welcome from Iowa, via Pensacola!
  19. That is the case for AR-15 carbine buffers, no tungsten in them till you hit H.
  20. This new trade school system is crap! Truck drivers that only drive automatics, carpenters that don't know the difference between a sinker and a common nail, operators that don't have a clue how to use a shovel. I see this regularly, poor kids have went in debt to learn a trade and got nothing for it, they would have been better served starting as a laborer and actually learning how the real world works. I can only imagine the problems with the more technical trades like machinists, HVAC, electricians, and such.
  21. Welcome from Iowa, via Pensacola! Armalite recently put out a few anniversary editions that have that look; https://armalite.com/the-truth-about-ar/ You may get lucky and run across one. Wasn't to long ago somebody here put one similar together then sold it in the for sale section here. Find his original post and you'll find lots of info on a retro AR-10 build.
  22. I've got a couple leads for a serial number so instead of making money from my request they will end up shipping one out for free. I don't even feel bad cheating them since I'm not an honest man in Bill's eyes; "No honest man needs more than 10 rounds in any gun." -Bill Ruger
  23. Just wasted a half hour on the phone with Ruger CS. Holly says call this number, they will sell you one. Josh says no serial number, no part. Went back and forth a couple times, talked to supervisors but no luck even talking to someone that understood there are different bolt catches, told me they use mil spec parts on the SR762.............
