  1. The wal-mart in Houston Mississippi was on my way to work so I made walking past the ammo cabinet part of my morning routine. It did seem that CCI showed up about every three months........every other week they would have a cart full of winchester or federal though. Now that I'll be on Cape Cod the nearest walmart is 1 1/2 hours away..........sucks.
  2. Should have just shot the crook first then dialed 911, a good example of what sympathy for ignorance will get you............and an example of the thought process that has contributed to the pollution of the gene pool.............If more crooks were shot stealing battery chargers then there would be fewer crooks......stupid touchy feely liberal crap will get you hurt.
  3. I've been getting .22 at wal-mart all summer, somewhere around 10,000 rounds averaging between 4-5 cents a round. I give most of it to Grandkids and nephews but I try to keep around 5,000 in the stash. I hardly ever shoot any myself, I just didn't see much improvement in skills when I used it for practice. I got the 22 conversion for my MK25 but got bored with it after a couple hundred rounds, should have just bought some more 9mm ammo with the money..........
  4. The cop was damned that he did but better to be damned than dead. I could never be a cop, I'd have most likely just shot him the leg.............I've always found that "yes sir, whatever you say" in response to anything a law officer says will get you on your way safe and sound if you've done nothing. What a grandstanding bitch.....
  5. Stupid smart phones! I have one from work but I disabled all the extra crap when it was issued so it just works like a simple phone, no info gathered from me!
  6. another vote for you, best of luck!
  7. No hat needed yet from what I read, just don't let anyone implant any wires in your brain! Wouldn't matter for me, I usually end up saying what I think anyway, hasn't worked out so well when it comes to getting along at work...............
  8. I'm going to be a temporary Mass. resident till next April, I should be on the Cape by noon tomorrow. Feeling pretty naked without my weapons..........gotta get that permit soon!
  9. I got a 1.25 MOA group at 100 yards with it in my basic AR-10 with no issues. Only bought one box so I used two for a zero, shot this group, then banged the rest into the steel at 200 yards. I'd buy more if I needed any ball ammo.
  10. Just what I suspected, not one damn rifle with a B mag in it :rant2: ..............I do like the shorty's on the wall though. Now I have to ponder....sell the B model or deal with the two varieties of mags??? Odds are there will be two types of 308 mags in my arsenal at some point.
  11. Odds are my B magazines won't fit a one :rant2:
  12. I keep telling myself I'll only build a .308 that I can use with my stockpile of AR-10B magazines...........I might have to rethink this.........
  13. <laughs> <lmao> ....but then it's not so funny at the time....... :ugone2far:
  14. After a series of these distasteful tests I can no longer stomach lemon lime flavored drinks..........a very unpleasant experience to be "emptied out" like that!
  15. Never mind, not much interest in butt plugs......just the sight of a colonoscopy camera would scare the poop out of me ....if there was any left
  16. Drew Who ?????
  17. Don't get me wrong, I don't see it as a negative that I did not see combat, after seeing how it has messed with my nephews head I'm glad I didn't. I fully understand I was one of the baddest sons a'bitches on earth at one time in my life and I'd still answer the call if it came, I'm just not in the same class as combat vets. It's one thing to train for it and another to put that training into practice.
  18. When I joined the general consensus was there could be war at any minute.....but there wasn't. I stood on the runway when a plane full of Rangers loaded up for Grenada, they are the vets, I was just a green guy watching them take off. Emotional stress from uncertainty doesn't count for me. The people who were drafted or volunteered knowing there was a war going on are the real vets, the real heros that deserve the benefits. I consider all Rangers my brothers and most feel the same but I can never fully understand what it is to be in that tighter circle of combat vets. Just my two cents.............
  19. Sounds like a hassle waiting to happen. I'm proud of my military service but don't consider myself a veteran. I get classified that way in government paperwork at times but in my book if you didn't serve during wartime then there is no "veteran" status. I don't mean to offend anyone but I would never put myself in the same class as my grandfather, father, step-father, and nephews who actually served in combat. It could get a little messy trying to vet the status...............
  20. I've used a single stage press since 1979, as well as a colander and 5 gallon bucket! It's a nice relaxing hobby, almost like meditation.

  22. The T3 buffer from spikes worked fine in my PM400. Shot 55 to 77 grain loads without a glitch <thumbsup>
  23. Why <dontknow>
  24. I just got the word they want to send me to a job in Massachusetts. I started to study the firearms rules there but it became very depressing.............. I can see my CC permit is worthless there for sure but the rest of the rules look just bad for me as a non-resident, if I read correctly I can't posses anything there unless I'm just travelling through..... Can anyone give me some good news? ?????
  25. Good, that means no more scope eye for me <thumbsup> , I hope............
