  1. Jocko is always interesting to listen to. I love his podcast's.
  2. I wanna give a big ol Happy Birthday shout out to the Cosmic dick slinging, green broad banging, one and only Captain of the USS Enterprise. William Shatner is 92 today. Keep on gettin up Cap'n.
  3. 325 is a fairly painless lesson of the rule. It's bitten some people for a hell of a lot more.
  4. That thing is pure Sex my man.
  5. That's a great speech that he gives. I've actually listened to that a number of times over the years. I could listen to this guy read the phone book. He's authentic, well spoken and has a good sense of humor.
  6. Great Book. Some incredible photography. And I even found a signed copy. Though it was to someone else since I obviously picked it up second hand. But it was in great shape when I got it.
  7. Yeah. That's a good way to get help around here. Go ahead and throw some shade at one of the prominent members of this board. I'm sure the rest of us will be more than willing to help you out with any of your problems with your rifles. (that's sarcasm by the way, if it was missed) I'm done.
  8. Rene is an original legitimate tin knocker. The type of knuckle dragger to take a flat piece of metal and turn it into whatever you're asking for. Fuking artist with metal and some shears. Even if he is a fan of the cherry flavored crayons.
  9. Yep. We actually used slide rules in high school. AND, we'd also use architectural triangular scale rulers for drafting/blueprints in shop class.

    Welcome from Maryland.
  11. Fukin comedians.
  12. I would pretty much concur with this. I'd, for the most part, leave a pistol like this alone and let it live a life as a safe queen. Shoot it periodically maybe, but not as a regular.
  13. Same here. Haven't used one of those since high school Shop/Engineering class back in the early 80's.
  14. You mean it's not? DAMMIT! I already started drinking for it.
  15. Welcome aboard from Maryland.
  16. Now, do you actually think that anybody in this crowd is even gonna try? We might enable, encourage, endorse, whip up, stir up, recommend, promote, advance, pressure, goad, advocate or influence. But we'll NEVER try to stop a brother from acquiring.
  17. Dude. If you only knew how many 10B mags I gathered before Maryland went to the 10 round max BS. Even though my policy is that you can never have too many mags.
  18. Here in the Washington DC region, we get all sorts of screwed up temperature ranges. We'll hit almost 100 in the summer, and sometimes down to single digits in the winter. So, like everything else in and around DC.....the weather is fuked.
  19. Been fairly mild around here this week. Temps dipped down into the high 20's/low 30's for a while yesterday, but nothing overwhelming. Made a run down to Ocean City (OC, Maryland for the rest of you) to pick up my pop so he could come stay with me for a week, to give him a little change of scenery. It snowed on us on the way back to my place. But nothing accumulated. Back in the 40's this morning.
  20. This picture makes me laugh, while wanting to pound my head against a wall. Let's see here now, going from top to bottom. A fuse......a Sta-con (doesn't conduct).....a blown bullet (ha).....another fuse.....and a bullet. And let's not run past the fact that the last wire is wire-nutted approximately a 1/2 inch from the terminal. That alone makes me twitch compulsively because I come across bull$hit like this all of the time. And don't even get me started about the wire that's been butt-spliced twice. And guys wonder why I'm so anal when it comes to building out my control panels.
  21. Yeah. We'll see how that works out for you. It never really stops. At least, not around here it doesn't.
  22. A Ronald Reagan said, the most dangerous words are "We're from the government, and we're here to help".
  23. Schitty? That's down right gorgeous brother.
  24. That'll be a great "Rat Patrol" (60's TV show) vehicle. We'll have to lose the top though while on patrol.
  25. Just too GOT Damn funny. And I think that we all feel this way.
