  1. I agree. I use AAC brakes and comps. I try to be nice, and warn guys that they might wanna sit a few lanes down when there's room. But if they don't..........fuckem! As Edge and SS said. It's a gun range. Deal with it.
  2. Does that include the "factory" duct tape? <laughs> Just kidding my man. Couldn't help it.
  3. Yeah.....the CMMG ain't gonna snap onto that upper. <laughs>
  4. For any of you guys that would like another upper to drop onto your existing lower. Armalite is running a sale this month on rifle uppers of different configs. Not bad pricing. A little over 600 for a complete upper. For just swapping uppers.....that's not bad at all. Even as a builder, you could pull the barrel and replace it, and already have the upper and BCG. That's worth over 500 by itself. And that's if you find a stripped upper (they're out there.....just gotta keep lookin). Or just pull the handguards and replace them with a rail. That alone would change the whole "look" of the rifle. Just throwin it out there. Don't know how many guys cruise Armalite's site on a regular basis. Hell....I'm thinking of getting one just for (more) spare parts. Though somehow I know that it would just turn into another whole rifle on it's own. Sheesh......got enough build projects on the list as it is.
  5. I think he even pulled a .011 if I remember correctly. Already has me planning on some trigger jobs on some of my beaters.......just as a start.
  6. Right there with you as far as barrel nuts. All I use is the copper-based ant-seize/grease.
  7. True. You read my mind. I was thinking of suppressors.
  8. You can't deny it with a beer in your hand......or two.....with a spare in your pocket. And that was just going outside for a smoke. <lmao>
  9. Combination of shims and Rocksett. Shims to time the muzzle device. Rocksett to set it. Rocksett is an industrial adhesive. Sorta looks like krazy glue. Holds far superior to Loc-tite........any color.
  10. ^^^^ <laughs> Funny man.....
  11. Rocksett for the muzzle device ............ at 18:48.
  12. The rifles? Or Edge and Robo? <laughs>
  13. Simple. Open your wallet.....fill out the form 4....get fingerprinted (if you don't have a trust)....send to ATF (with another check)......and wait. Wait anywhere between 6 to 12 months for it to be approved.....and then it's all yours to play with.
  14. You'll never notice the sound difference between the two.
  15. And It was no lie either. <laughs>
  16. Stay the course.
  17. Uhhhh. This is the 308AR forum. Why would we try and talk you into building a 5.56 rifle? We're gonna try and help you spend every dollar of your planned budget. Then...............blow right past it and keep gettin. <laughs>
  18. Yep. Pretty much how the conversation went. Too damn funny.
  19. Must have been a counter-tactical cartridge.
  20. Hmmmmm. Me thinks that the mount may be backwards. Sorta reminds me of a set of irons that a friend of mine put on his OBR........after he was enjoying some tequila. <lmao> I'll let Rob go into detail. And NO....it wasn't Greg's OBR. Trust me. No matter what you think.....it WASN'T Greg's rifle. <lmao> <laughs> <lmao>
  21. I think that I see a new marketing scheme for us. We can make Millions! .............or.......at least enough for a case a of beer and maybe some gas money. <lmao>
  22. Nice Ka-Bar there Shibi.
  23. Don't be jealous big boy. But no worry. The can has the top priority over the glass. And I ain't even talking about that damn bipod.
  24. Damn Shibi. Now you've got me eye-ballin that thing. It actually sounds pretty cool.
  25. Rimfire? Screw that. Use the 308 and turn that bunny into a red cloud. <lmao>
