Finally got around to case prepping 500 1x LC cases from MidwayUSA. Sized, deprimed and cleaned them. Next, swage, then trim. 500 cases for $40 was too good a deal to turn down.

Well, Hornady has certainly modified their official line on the SuperPerformance ammo. A few years ago I had some correspondence with them about using SuperPerformance ammo in M14 and M1 type rifles. Their answer was it is not for gas rifles, period.

200 rounds should be enough to break it in. Something is weakening as the rifle heats up. Sounds like it might be the ejector spring. Can you swap it out?

We took our son to Texas De Brazil in Baton Rouge for his birthday. What an outstanding place!!! If you've never been to a good Brazilian-style steak house, you are missing out. It's a never ending supply of some of the finest beef, chicken and pork ever, plus a salad bar to match. There were two meats that particularly stand out to me, the beef ribs and the garlic mignon.
