  1. I'm done with the NFL. The majority of players and staff may just want to play the game, but it's ruined by those who want to use the field for their soapbox. F 'em all. Bunch of whiney, overpaid bastards. Goodell could have stopped this crap two years ago by saying anyone who protests at a game is gone. But Goodell is a pu$$y and the broadcasters are in-the-bag leftist trash who think this is great. I'll watch college football.
  2. Welcome aboard from the northshore.
  3. These are the poor souls who are in such dire need of "The Americans With No Abilities Act".
  4. Sure they're in season?
  5. You bet I do! My palatial mansion(s) needs the protection. I hope you never have to deal with flooding, but the flood insurance is a good deal.
  6. Geez, it isn't that expensive. Spend the damn money.
  7. You might want to try this: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/788204/alg-defense-quality-mil-spec-trigger-group-ar-15-lr-308-small-pin-154-single-stage-matte Inexpensive, and easy to install. It is an amazingly good trigger at a very low price.
  8. I think they are referring to Hitlery. I like it.
  9. Welcome from the swamps of LA.
  10. I slept in too. Got up at 5:30AM and it felt good! Spent the day reading, snoozing and then a big bbq with a neighbor. Good day.
  11. After that exchange, you should go to lunch at Taco Bell and stick him with the bill. You can pick your friends, you can pick your... You know the rest.
  12. Finally got around to case prepping 500 1x LC cases from MidwayUSA. Sized, deprimed and cleaned them. Next, swage, then trim. 500 cases for $40 was too good a deal to turn down.
  13. Well, Hornady has certainly modified their official line on the SuperPerformance ammo. A few years ago I had some correspondence with them about using SuperPerformance ammo in M14 and M1 type rifles. Their answer was it is not for gas rifles, period.
  14. 200 rounds should be enough to break it in. Something is weakening as the rifle heats up. Sounds like it might be the ejector spring. Can you swap it out?
  15. Welcome from Louisiana. Prepare to have your wallet emptied.
  16. Don't judge us by what you see in San Francisco, or Los Angeles, or Las Vegas, or... Never mind.
  17. Thoughts and prayers for all affected by Harvey. What a storm!
  18. What? Avery Island? I was in there once a long time ago. As both a mining engineer and a geologist, it was fascinating!
  19. Northshore. Where'd you live?
  20. Welcome from the swamps of LA.
  21. Three rammings since January! This is not coincidence, it is deliberate. It's in part caused by the politically correct crap within our military, whether it's unqualified personnel in positions of consequence or authority, or rules of engagements promulgated from the nitwit civilian commanders. Frankly, we could stop it immediately. Any ship within 5 miles of a U.S. warship gets an immediate warning. Within 3 miles, sink it. No ship on the high seas is worth a single U.S. sailor's life.
  22. The Americans With No Abilities Act (ANAA) Democratic Senators are considering introducing legislation that will provide new benefits for many more Americans. The Americans With No Abilities Act is being hailed as a major legislative goal by advocates of the millions of Americans who lack any real skills and ambition. “Roughly 50 percent of Americans do not possess the competence and drive necessary to carve out a meaningful role for themselves in society,” said California Sen. Barbara Boxer. “We can no longer stand by and allow People of Inability (POI) to be ridiculed and passed over. With this legislation, employers will no longer be able to grant special favors to a small group of workers, simply because they have some idea of what they are doing.” In a Capitol Hill press conference, Nancy Pelosi pointed to the success of the U.S. Postal Service, which has a long-standing policy of providing opportunity without regard to performance. At the state government level, the Department of Motor Vehicles also has an excellent record of hiring Persons with No Ability (63 percent). Under The Americans With No Abilities Act, more than 25 million mid-level positions will be created, with important-sounding titles but little real responsibility, thus providing an illusory sense of purpose and performance. Mandatory non-performance-based raises and promotions will be given to guarantee upward mobility for even the most unremarkable employees. The legislation provides substantial tax breaks to corporations that promote a significant number of Persons of Inability (POI) into middle-management positions, and give a tax credit to small and medium-sized businesses that agree to hire one clueless worker for every two talented hires. Finally, the Americans With No Abilities Act contains tough new measures to make it more difficult to discriminate against the non-abled, banning, for example, discriminatory interview questions such as, “Do you have any skills or experience that relate to this job?” “As a non-abled person, I can’t be expected to keep up with people who have something going for them,” said Mary Lou Gertz, who lost her position as a lug-nut twister at the GM plant in Flint, Mich., due to her inability to remember “righty tighty, lefty loosey”. Said Sen. Dick Durbin, II: “As a senator with no abilities, I believe the same privileges that elected officials enjoy ought to be extended to every American with no abilities. It is our duty as lawmakers to provide each and every American citizen, regardless of his or her inadequacy, with some sort of space to take up in this great nation and a good salary for doing so.” This message was approved by Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Diane Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, Maxine (WaWa) Waters, Elizabeth (Nut Case) Warren and Nancy Pelosi.......all Americans With No Abilities whatsoever!!
  23. Okay, name the players!
  24. We took our son to Texas De Brazil in Baton Rouge for his birthday. What an outstanding place!!! If you've never been to a good Brazilian-style steak house, you are missing out. It's a never ending supply of some of the finest beef, chicken and pork ever, plus a salad bar to match. There were two meats that particularly stand out to me, the beef ribs and the garlic mignon. Next time I go I'll just concentrate on those two. http://www.texasdebrazil.com/locations/louisiana/baton-rouge/
  25. Oh, come on. We're the cool kids.
