  1. Stand next to an 80 year old woman. Wrap a dish towel around your head, have a three day growth of beard and don't shower. TSA will give her the 3rd degree and pass you right thru.
  2. Does that constitute frangible rounds?

    Howdy

Welcome from the soggy swamps of LA. I lived in Midland several lifetimes ago. Actually enjoyed it. Ever have the prime rib at the Barn Door?
  4. Took my son to the rifle range yesterday. I only had one set of ear muffs along (having already lent my other ear muffs to someone) I decided to let my son use the electronic ear muffs along with squishy plugs, I used just the squishy plugs. The noise was too much. I'll never do that again for an extended range session.
  5. My TNArms polymer lower and Aero upper with 16" barrel weighs a hair over 7lbs. I paid a lot less than $3K for it. Of course, if anyone wants to buy it from me for $2999...
  6. Supposedly only weighs 7.4 lbs. https://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/mega-arms-compact-frame-308-ar-shot-show-2017/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=20170303_FridayDigest_111&utm_campaign=/blog/mega-arms-compact-frame-308-ar-shot-show-2017/
  7. Megas are sweet. Show us a target!
  8. I'm not sure what you mean by that. A DU round can't "create" energy any more than any other projectile. A DU round, like any other projectile upon impact, will convert some of its kinetic energy into heat energy. With a very hard, very high speed projectile like a DU round, it will either penetrate and/or convert to a tremendous amount of heat capable of melting the object it is impacting.
  9. Take the good from it you can. Every case has the same mark. Your rifle is functioning very consistently.
  10. It's Halloween 365 days a year in the French Quarter. Still don't care for it especially in the summer. It lends a whole new meaning to "pew, pew, pew."
  11. Just ordered the AK and Black Beard's Delight. We will soon find out how good an espresso they make.
  12. It appears to be "just" a POS drunk. Another a$$clown who couldn't control himself.
  13. A Volvo? Revoke his man-card.

  16. I wear both the squishy ear plugs and the electronic muffs. There is a noticable effect of using both. If you doubt that, wear both to an active range. Lift one of the ear muffs off your ear and I guarantee you, you'll notice the difference.
  17. Enough to float a battleship.
  18. Everybody need a vice or two. Mine are fine rifles and quality espresso. Can't make good espresso without a good machine. I like granola, but dried fruit gives me the runs.
  19. Has anyone got first-hand experience with Black Rifle coffee in an E61 heat exchanger machine to make real espresso?
  20. Ya' think?
  21. Michiganistan.
  22. I think the doc is not the only fall guy. If he was a poor surgeon, it wouldn't take 32 separate incidents to figure that out. Someone was covering for him.
  23. In for $100. Get better, little guy.
  24. It's not a bad deal to buy the "limited" LPK that comes without the fire-control group and the pistol grip. They are on sale at MidwayUSA for $20! These are the things most people swap out immediately. It's always good to have a couple extra of these around.
  25. What a POS! But where the hell was the hospital review board, the state medical board. 32 botched surgeries??? Why wasn't the medical system looking at this guy after 2 or 3 screw ups?
