Sheriffs Refusing To Enforce Unconstitutional Gun Laws Snowballs
NoFail replied to imschur's topic in General Discussion
these anti gun royal douche canoe's are highly intelligent, yet so severely stupid after all <thumbsup> -
Yes surely I will. Fulton was one of the first places I go anyhow. I have stuff from them from before.
-
^ Yeah idk but maybe they open it up for like 17 seconds to sell what they have when it comes available.

SI those look like fine receivers. I couldn't find any BCG on the web site. I thought I'd seen it there before. Maybe it was Young's I'm thinking of <dontknow>
-
I went there one time to see their BC & bolt & it looks like, I dunno, I never wanted to lick a bolt before but that is some kind of BCG, I must say <laughs> That's a great price on the receiver set. I'll call for wait time estimate. Thanks, Montana308

I just got a call from friend who wants LR-308. He is late to the races. I told him I'll see what I can do. Doesn't look like I can do much except wait. Recievers, BCG & barrel 16/18". Any hope?

I'm really big on conspiracy theories, admit it. Sometimes the more crazy they sound the more sense they make too me. Is it crazy to think maybe this shortage has been created by agency. Shortage caused by panic to be sure. But what caused the panic? What caused the panic is what they told us, or showed us, that made us panic. End result I don't think I have enough supplies right now to go and shoot like I'd like. I think I had better conserve big time, you know? My guns are useless without ammo <dontknow>

Iv'e got more power than I need right now for the amount of bullets I have, at least in .308. Roughly 1000 .30 cal pills. If I had 2000 pills I'd kinda be keeping an eye out for it more. I did buy 1lb of 4064 at bass pro a few weeks ago, fkg over $29.00. They had 3 or 4. They had 3 lbs of Varget but I have 2.5lbs already. They had 2lbs RL15. No CFE223. They had several others you might use. Sort of wish I'd bought more than I did but..... They had 1 box 178 Amax left so I gabbed it. No .30 cal SMK's. No 168 AMAX and I would have bought those out for sure if they had. The Nosler, Barnes, etcetera's, are just too expensive, I want my AMAX. Primers forget about it except they had 5 flats of CCI small rifle primers that my bro bought. That shelf was stripped. What I need most is bullets & primers, then powder.

NO KIDDING??? My Brother Planeflyer21, I reload 45 Colt for my 1894 Winchester. I have LIL'GUN too & Starline brass, poop loads of it. I have loaded a lot of those 225 gr FTX bullets, XTP's & I have a LEE mold. we have a few buckets of lead wheel weights <thumbsup> I've been using 2400 for the .45 though. The LIL'GUN and H110 I use for my Model '94 in .44 mag. I have often thought about getting a ruger black hawk or better to go along with the .45 lever gun. Anyway this is cool....

Edge, might want to think about going back now and picking up any Varget they got left, if any, seriously. Congrats on your purchases.

We're being diluted. Must be part of the plan, as I've thought for some time.

Nice looking lower. Reminds me of a Seekins I think the trigger guard is very similar.
-
I have no experience with it. But if JP said "silent" then they do mean no audible sound, to us humans, is produced by it, either directly or indirectly. If you have seen the design then you would know why. I do want one.

My sister always forwards me these kind. "Children of congress member do not have to pay back their college student loans. How nice! Monday on Fox news they learned that the staffers of Congress family members are exempt from having to pay back student loans. This will get national attention if other news networks will broadcast it. When you add this to the below, just where will all of it stop? 35 States file lawsuit against the Federal Government Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention. This will take less than thirty seconds to read. If you agree, please pass it on. This is an idea that we should address. For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform... in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We do not have an elite that is above the law. I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop. If each person that receives this will forward it on to 20 people, in three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one proposal that really should be passed around. Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ." You are one of my 20."

They sure look sexy all sprawled out in bed like that. Please excuse me whilst I go and, uh, oh never mind... <lmao>

Yeah I'm running just a normal, or stock if you will, buffer/spring. The AR platform is typically over gassed. With the ability to turn the gas valve in, it's just a set screw in the block, reducing pressure in the system means less punishment in your upper. Brass can be put though less torture too. With the LMOS BCG, since its about 4 oz lighter than typical, you don't need as much pressure even more so. JP now also has the SCS or Silent Captured Spring. This replaces the common buffer design and is just intended to eliminate noise inside the buffer tube. I don't suppose I need that but I want one. They are as much as a CAR 10-XH heavy buffer though, spendy, yet sold out <laughs>
-
Yeah, what I'm thinking too. Now the question stands, 16" or 18". I'm leaning towards 18".

^ Thanks StainTrain, they have an upper for $99.00. But, of course, they are sold out. Their site is slow as hell right now too. Timed out trying to find carriers and look over the site.

1st Build on a JD Machine set and have some questions - Thanks
NoFail replied to lmt4me's topic in Building a .308AR
You got $1500 to spend on barrel and BCG and gas system then I like what you are thinking. That's where I went to fill up my JD Machine .308 receiver set, JP Enterprises. I don't have the Ultra Match but have heard nothing but good about it. Someone here will vouch for Ultra Match. I have JP Supermatch 16", this one is a pretty nice barrel. I used JD Machine 14" handguard. I used the JP Enterprises low profile adjustable gas block. Depending on the length of handguard you choose you may need low profile gas block. I used the JP Enterprises "E Z Trigger". This is an awesome (IMO) single stage fire control system and it comes with the safety mechanism in a complete kit. I don't like the name they gave it though, sounds gay. EDIT: Don't expect 1-2" groups at 500 with any barrel. That is extremely unrealistic for any non professional, and most professionals, when using the absolute best equipment available. Maybe there is equipment that will do it, but can most humans? Sub 1" at 100 is very doable for you with the right ammo. I dunno, maybe if you lock the thing up on a bench.
