Yep you do understand it is hard to put into words, maybe we only have these moments later in life after we really know a little something,...lol but yes you do see that we are a small part of the whole yet when we band together we are a force to be reckoned with and yet that force is just a grain of sand ... it was not the fire I feared it was the magnificence of it .

so is a paint ball gun OK here is how it works my 88 year old mom loves her flowers and so do the deer we have so many we do not fertalize the yard it is full of deer poop so she says mark them suckers and so we get a paint ball gun shoot the ones eating her flowers with a orange florescent ball or two and then tell all the folks living near by that these are the ones need killing first when season starts been working pretty well ... :)

Sometimes in life it just smacks you in the face how small and insignificant we really are I had a moment like that this summer while fighting fires at night on a back burn this picture is NOT me but it is almost the exact same scenario as I was in a fire uphill in a horse shoe canyon burning down hill at me ... makes you realize what is really important .....

farming deer ,elk or whatever big game animal needs to be outlawed period if you want elk or deer go hunting the damn things escape and spread disease to the healthy herds or worse breed after they escape it is the worst thing I have even seen around here and it is about to be ended in Idaho !

A word to the wise about the palmetto state armory PA-10
Magwa replied to CASEYPM's topic in Building a .308AR
If weight is your goal (and it was mine) 16 inch barrel and everything else as light and small as you can get I have killed 2 elk and 5 deer with mine and empty it weighs a bit over 8 lbs... -
Got mine at the grand opening of a new gun store .... just at the right place at the right time.... lucky I guess....
-
Well hell welcome from Idaho.......

And to make the barf pile bigger these people who write this Chit are the majority of the voters these days , they have no clue what they are talking about , no experience with guns all they know is that they are dangerous and for OUR OWN safety they need to push to get rid of these things... now that is sad.

OK school me on this , do they actually tear a gun apart before a self defense hearing or trial? I mean that would be the only reason I would ever be in trouble would be me defending my self and at that point does it matter if it is a club, gun, knife etc? say i bought a knife and changed the point to a more dagger like point would a DA tear me a new one for altering the knife into a more deadly knife? what about defence ammo some of this stuff looks like it is designed to blow holes the size of a watermelon would it really matter? you have just defended yourself against a attacker who would have killed or maimed you for whats in your wallet..... sorry I do not think altering your gun would matter we do it all the time we buy guns alter them with grips magazines that hold more trigger jobsetc etc and there are still 1911,s made with out those parts I think the DA would have a weak case unless you live in cali, or another anti gun state which I will never do.... your thoughts..

lol I got nine cords in all split in halves and dry.... I am going hunting till I find one...

no F---- way am I buying another pistol I got this one used and took it to a friend who rebuilt it with all Wilson springs and other relevant upgrades but he would not remove the swartz now this kimber is like a fine watch am I am a surgeon with it 5, 12, 25, 50, 100 yard you do NOT want me shooting at you best shooting pistol I have ever owned but i do dislike extra parts like the swartz...
-
OK I am no gunsmith by a long shot I own two Kimbers a carry 2 and a custom tactical 2 I know the tac 2 has the swartz safety can it be taken out with no other reliability issues?

I like the green better too, and I like the strike fire better then my two eotechs the dot on the strikefire is a precise dot ,on the eotechs it is a pixelated rough dot go figure...
-
Yeah good point Sisco the ground is now clear of almost 100 year fireload, now the native grass will explode and all will be well but it will take a long time to regrow the trees all that fire load made for a hot fire......
-
I love the carbon fiber hand guard it weighs nothing and is very comfy this gun is my go to gun when I here a bump in the night or go wolf hunting on the snow mobile the I tac light is awesome I think sig bought them out but it has strobe and a amazing bright beam plus a laser if you need it and with a can it is so quiet it is fun to shoot in fact I have never shot it without the can.... but I bet it is loud....
-
I evoked the law on myself, and bought one and have been shooting it for a week now this thing is nothing but pure fun.... 30 rounds of 22 mag.... comes with two 30 round mags and i got a extra because it was there... paid retail a bit over 350.00 OK the fun stuff, the gun weighs 13 oz's and a bit over 16oz's loaded in other words it is freeking light ,ambidextrous safety,, comes with a rail, it has awesome fiber optic sights even I can see both front and back sights with ease and in pre dawn or fading light they pop!... now function this is the perfect gun to be in a holster sewed to your bug out bag or back pack or day pack whatever it weighs nothing and if you can not get em with 30 rounds run fast.... it will be sewn to my hunting pack. So how does it work? very well I have fired 120 rounds through it and the only hiccup I had was a FTF the first round on some 40 year old Winchester 22 mag I got some cci's and they worked flawlessly, hardly any recoil but a fireball out the barrel will wake you up in the dark lol.... it is very easy to shoot and shoots where you point it , the mag release is on the butt kinda like a old school German pistol easy to reload, the loading of the mags takes a bit getting used to but is pretty straight forward if you have any question just ask but i would recommend this pistol to any hunter, fisherman in snake country , trapper, prepper etc....
-
Ok so I got my stamp now and i can now have this fun gun and it is a blast to shoot.... Anderson upper ,lower, Odin 10 and 1/2 barrel carbon handgaurd, Itac light and laser ,vortex strikefire red dot,Elfman trigger,FDE lancer 20 rd mags, nickel boron FA ,BCG pistol buffer and spring soon to be replace with JP capture spring.... sorry for the crappy pic but you get the idea...
-

-
well all fires are now out or smoldering in the black which is all good but my elk hunting spot burn like burned toast and looks like the moon with black sticks instead of trees..
