I have that exact grip on my armalite and i could use a wedge. Not sure y.

Sight mark mini green dot and 45 degree GGG mount. Went in another direction with my AR 15 project and its just taking up space in the safe. 100 for both

The unmistakable BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP from the A-10, most impressive thing in the air to me.

I may order one of those fornicate LETTUCE shirts, I find it hilarious. And just to annoy the wife, who is always trying to get me to eat that poop.

Yeah if it says "reduced recoil" thats your issue. They are half loaded, or at least it feels like it. Shake it and it sounds like its half full.

FFDP is good I like a lot of their music. Im into that hard rock/90's rock sounding music. Also listen to a lot of classic rock and country. Side note- whats up with some of this "Hick-Hop" coming out these days such as "BIG-SMO". this joker even has a TV show. <dontknow>

Im all for it, Ive used them on other sites but I can see how info would go "unlogged" for others to google or find in the search here. As far as leaving it for off topic discussion would be a good idea tho.

I was under the impression that semi auto pistols in Cali had to be single shot until purchased then could be converted by the end user?? Maybe Im wrong then Im not sure I live down in the land of the free where we buy what we want, well almost.
-
And correct me if Im wrong, but isn't Cali also trying to scrub the single shot exemption for pistols, just a thing to think about also. May not be able to get another one any time soon.

It looks like you may be coming out a little on top in that trade but me personally I would keep the 1911. I used to hate them and they have grown on me to the point that Im actually in the market for one, but every time I get the money saved I can't make up my mind and end up buying some poop for my other pistols/rifles. Or I come across other stuff Ive been looking for like my FNX 45 I bought around christmas. Went looking for a 1911 and ended up with another polymer frame pistol. Anyways but Im like you, my Glock 19 is always on my side, (until I get a holster for this FNX lol) Its all about what you feel you will be happier with in the long run though. If you hunt a lot and feel the .300 would actually be worth having then Id say trade but don't think about the short run, you'll be kicking yourself in the ass before you know it.

What kind of 1911?

That was very moving...

It may be the muzzle brake causing the bad looks man. Usually when I pull out the armalite at the range and start chunking lead, it clears out the lanes on each side of me until I put it back in the rack. People don't like feeling your gun "punch" em in the chest each round.

I don't like the "pick n pluck" type foam inserts tho. I have it for my pistol case and after a few uses it starts tearing an pieces fall out. Also doesn't look as good as a cut to fit install.

As far as wear goes it all depends on what you use to seal it. After dipping it has to be clear coated or it will wear fairly easily.

Well this muddys the waters I saw this earlier but cannot confirm what source it came from, just a local news page posted it on Facebook with no source. I did a little searching and no major sources are reporting this. "But at the same time as the Malaysian Airlines jetliner went down, Radio Free Europe reported, Ukrainian rebel leader Igor Strelkov announced on Russian social networking site VKontakte that a Ukrainian transport plane had been shot down: "In the vicinity of Torez, we just downed a plane, an AN-26. ... We have issued warnings not to fly in our airspace. We have video confirming. The bird fell on a waste heap. Residential areas were not hit. Civilians were not injured." Strelkov linked to two videos, reportedly of the downed airplane. After news broke that the Malaysian Airlines plane had gone down, he deleted the post about the AN-26."

Yeah guys I kinda thought the same thing and have been noodling making a smaller version maybe with the firebox underneath it.

I brought this up to my step dad after reading this thread the other day. I told him I wanted to get into smoking instead of just grilling and he showed me this: http://theownerbuildernetwork.co/easy-diy-projects/diy-outdoor-space-projects/diy-cedar-smokehouse/ Actually told me he was thinking about asking me to help him build one. I told him as long as he helps me build mine at my house also.

Well I did a little soldering when I got home and mocked up some lighting in the safe and it came out well. I plan to also add some underneath each shelf as I have about 12ft of LED strip left and I like how it looks so far. I may add a switch but for now I just have the wire running out of the rear to the transformer and have to manually plug it in which I may end up keeping, not sure yet. Anyways this only cost me about 35-40 bucks and some time, beats paying 120 or so for the same thing from "the bargain site".

I know that place, My step dad bought his boat from there. Looks like Bent Marine on airline in metairie?

Well my thought is to not let the transformer reside inside the safe, just thread through the 12v adapter.

Well I couldn't pass up a deal after waiting and searching for a safe for a while and picked up a Redhead brand safe for a steal. (Rebranded Browning ProSteel, (Chinese crap I know but I digress)). Anyways Ive ordered some led lighting strips and a 12v inverter and all necessary connectors to light the inside of this bad boy up. My question is that my plug will be behind the safe so the inverter will be plugged in all the time, with a momentary switch to complete the circuit on the 12v output when the safe door is open. That being said, with nothing being powered by the 12v inverter, is it OK to leave plugged in all the time, or should I make it accessible to be able to plug and unplug and ditch the momentary switch? Anyone here have any electronics experience to shed some light on this? Ive searched high and low and all these DIY safe lighting vids I see do not specify if leaving the inverter plugged in all the time is OK to do. If it isn't I have some electrical re-routing to do in the casa as the only plug on the wall my safe resides against is behind the safe.

I actually have that exact brake on my rifle, works dam good for the price.
