  1. First I have heard of this. I transitioned to a Luth stock with the standard Armalite AR10 buffer with no problem. I would change the buffer/spring first. Before messing with the stock.
  2. The link was to a Facebook post by Bulls Eye camera systems showing the video. Apparently either Facebook censored it, or Bulls Eye removed it.
  3. Hmm that is strange. Well it is not worth looking up again. But I will try to track it down.
  4. For this group nothing much. I used it for Boy Scouts to show how a semi or full auto works. Thought I would post it in case any one could use it for education.
  5. Xxl, first thought; try a different magazine. It sounds as if there is a small difference in the magazine position from where it should be to lock back, and to strip a new round out of the mag when it is locked back. Need to rule out a possibly defective magazine. Also possibly it could be a tolerance issue between the upper and lower. Any visible gaps between them? Also, switch ammo to make sure it is not a specific issue with that load. With that I will sit back and let the really knowledgeable guys weigh in.
  6. Sale must be over. I followed the link and the price was $1,149. $868 would have been a smoking deal!
  7. Your wife buys you firearms for Christmas? Keep that a secret! Lock her away so no other potential suitors find that out. And do not tell any of your friends. And congratulate yourself everyday on the fantastic choice you made in a partner!
  8. Geez Guru, don't need headaches like that. Happy New Year to you and the rest of the 308AR conmunity..

  10. Welcome. If you can answer 98’s question it will help him in helping other PSA owners. Also if you haven’t already check out the PSA manufacturer thread. There are a couple of knowledgeable PSA owners that can help answer questions.
  11. Welcome

Might look for Brazilian style chimichurri seasoning. I make my own Patagonian Chimichurri from scratch. If you are interested I will share the recipe. Awesome looking meal Shepp. I had left over Rogan Josh lamb we made last night for a friends birthday. If you like spice and Indian subcontinent food, it is killer.
  13. I have 10 boxes I am hoarding.
  14. Welcome!
  15. That article doesn't even mention the M-1 Garand. To paraphrase General Patton: The M-1 was the weapon that won WWII. (You could add the T-34 to that list to make it two and I wouldn 't argue). The AR-15 is the American millennials weapon, no doubt. Give me 308 or 30 cal M1.

  17. Welcome, As you are on a budget, might think about the Geissele GS2 two stage trigger. Another thought is Larue’s trigger. Never tried that one myself but a lot of the guys on the forum speak highly of it. I have the GS2 on an AR15 and really like it.
  18. Welcome from Wisconsin.
  19. The offset sights are a PITA with soft cases. One reason I DC'd using them.
  20. This is out of Vietnam via Bullseye Camera systems.
  21. What you don’t want to see in your proctologist’s office.
  22. Standard wood stock M1A loaded with NM trigger, stainless barrel, nonhooded match sights, are $1699 around here.
  23. That happened 11 years ago in 2007. The A360 is no longer the largest plane in service, the A380 is. I have seen one, it is a monster! Rest of the story is factual.
  24. Nice welcome.
  25. Up here we get an Iowa cold snap, we break out the shorts and tank tops. Three feet of snow on the road to the public range. Won’t be open until April.
